  I remember a girl with a giant Mohawk I went to school with telling me she just used a lot of gel, and sucked it upwards with a vacuum cleaner.

    Yeah, Mohawk need structural strength, like gel or egg whites. That fluffy look can only be achieved with hairspray. And the fluffing turns out into a bomb, like creamer powder thrown into a camp fire. It’s like comparing diesel to gasoline
