Broadly my feeling. It’s used too often, especially the more wordy versions. Actual Ceremonial occasions like Graduation, absolutely. Every class just makes it into meaningless jibber. I could support plaques along the lines of public halls often having a Monarch portrait on display.

I’ve seen it used on in-work meetings…that’s just midnless performance at that point.

  My old workplace did it for the big meetings, but there was one senior manager who would occasionally join our small group meetings and go through it. From him it definitely felt like cringey virtue signalling
