Translation:
Imagine telling the average person what the guys on the right (Diaz brothers of MMA fame) would do to the guys on the left (jacked bodybuilder bros who likely have never stepped foot into a fighting gym).

We all hear what we wanna hear.

This makes the most sense because of the added context. On the same-ish note, why do so many people online riff on bodybuilders? Body builders are just sculpting their bodies to the best to their abilities as their hobby, they are not trying to be some kind of Olympic athletes, but you’ll still see classic Redditor like comments “um…but can he actually fight the though 🤓”

Yeah bruh. I don’t want to fight. I hate fighting and violence. I just want to make number bigger, and the gym is one of the only places I feel safe to have emotions. The fact that I can squat a quarter of a ton now is just an inevitable side effect of the first three things. Please don’t focus your inferiority complex on my coping mechanism

A 560lbs squat? That’s a whole lot of weight

It’s nothing compared to more than 560 pounds

I think you actually nailed it:
or, those who have never set foot inside a gym of any kind.
