Sorry to hear that, I know the feeling and it sucks. It’s better after growing up and starting your own life and making your own way, and I hope you’re proceeding in that direction.

My parents reminded me every “anniversary” of when they changed their mind in the clinic and decided not to end my mother’s pregnancy. I heard that story from my earliest days and never understood why they told me that over and over at the time. I get it now, and I feel more pity for my late parents than myself anymore. Some people are completely incapable of being adult enough to bring a new life into the world with actual responsibility and care.
