I worked for a company that did their dates multiple ways and it was fucking impossible to know what date was what. It was super frustrating. I’d prefer this, but if you don’t, at least keep it consistent once you start.
- Comment on Ubisoft says you "cannot complain" it shut down The Crew because you never actually owned it, and you weren't "deceived" by the lack of an offline version 3 days ago:
I always assumed they were shit since they’re the only Nintendo branded games that go on sale for more than 10% off without a bundle.

They made it apparently. But yea, I would never have guessed that if it wasn’t mentioned and I looked it up.

This isn’t entirely true. I got Zelda TOTK for $40 on release. Kind of.
I bought Costco Nintendo gift cards which saves you $20 (if I remember right) and then bought the combo pack deal which included TOTK. It came out to getting every game for $40 each. Of course, the physical copy is a whole different story.

I haven’t pirated a game in over a decade, but…

“Oooh, retro!”

A bit of an exaggeration. Your wallet speaks, sure. But I haven’t been to a lot of places in years, some even for decades and they’re still doing just fine. I didn’t buy any Nintendo console from the NES until I got a Wii paying half with a friend.

I had insanely low self-esteem in my young adult life and so I found those dating gurus. The one I found wasn’t as toxic as many. But he still had some real shit advise that I took into my attempts of dating. Sometimes it worked, but very often I was seen as an ass (rightfully so) and when it came down to it. Just being me was the winning combo.
Weird, I know.

Autism can’t be “cured” and it’s something people learn to live with not move past. If you know a person who was autistic and don’t seem to be any longer, one of the following things happened.
- Therapy helped them learn ways to manage
- They learned you aren’t someone safe to be themselves around are mask around you.
- All the above.

I don’t like sorting wires. I just give them to someone who does like them. Then I also know who to go to if I need wires.

Nah, it just means the ADHD that often accompanied Autism is fight full force.
- Comment on He's just eccentric 2 weeks ago:
Those aren’t any of what you just said though. I have a drawer of wires everything you mentioned, outside of VGA because why? But I do not save or sort random electric wires.

I would imagine I’d absolutely love some of these indie games today as a kid. But there are things that make them less desirable to play now. The main things are being an adult with responsibilities gives you less time and tons of options for games now. I had maybe 10 games to choose to play from unless I rented.

- Comment on Why aren't there mass protests in the USA? 3 weeks ago:
Thr burning down of tesla cars and dealerships don’t happen during the protests so they have no boogeyman to give yet. Once the protests turn violent, which I have no doubt they will eventually if they keep getting ignored, thr media will be quick to pain all protestors as bad and ask “why didn’t they try peacefully protesting?”

I’d say worse. In the least, people carrying out orders might be doing so out of fear for their own life. It doesn’t excuse it, but on the scale I’d say that’s much better than putting people in a position to kill or be killed.
