RustyRaven@aussie.zone 10 months agoYou might have to keep going back to them, and it may not be their fault (although they should have told you when you made the request). When I had the finger infection the doctor said new govt. regulations mean they are not allowed to order a repeat on antibiotics, even if they know you are going to need more than one pack.

Yeah, I’m keenly aware of antibiotic stewardship 😣
I wasn’t aware of the new guidelines so fingers crossed that’s the only issue. I’m hoping that I might be able to get a pack each 5 days without a fight…
This isn’t ideal for me either. But unfortunately due to being immunocompromised and having already had a root canal the infection roars right back every time I finish. Starts spreading into my jaw and neck.
I’m just trying to contain it until I can get seen so I don’t end up in hospital with sepsis.

I think attacking people and eating their brains is the legal line, as long as you don’t get that far you’re just walking wounded.
