mrvictory1@lemmy.world 1 year agoI used WinXP till '19 with no signs of infections. Just extracting the .wim image of the PC was enough to trigger Defender on Win10. It was infected.

I got 5-6 reports then stopped extracting the image because I got scared. Mostly PUP and info stealers, maybe 1 trojan.
