I’ve found that you just have to treat them like a mechanical typewriter, and type like you’re hammering in nails for them to work some semblance of properly.

This cheap Dell keyboard at work is killing me. It’s so unresponsive and at times you’ll type a double letter and it won’t register one. I think I need mechanical switches because this rubber membrane just isn’t good enough.

Certainly cheap and nasty. I might do the same as my headphones and find a cheap mechanical somewhere to use at work. Scan the receipt and list it as a work expense
