Vance is there on Thiel’s behalf. That is probably literally the only reason why he was picked as VP. They dont need him to work or to actually do anything.
Exactly. Vance is a Manchurian candidate for the fascists in Silicon Valley. He’s there to take over if need be or to run after Trump’s term is over. I doubt he has any actual agency.

Eh, Vance being invisible so far is just usually how it is for VPs. I think people forget that the role of the VP is basically just two things:
