Here, let me link it. www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/coup And if you’re feeling lazy, here’s the definition: 1 : a sudden decisive exercise of force in politics and especially the violent overthrow or alteration of an existing government by a small group : coup d’état

        Since Trump didn’t attempt to overthrow anything, and he certainly didn’t use force, he didn’t attempt a coup.
