I was told the same by multiple Chinese people, it sounds like “nugga” and is often repeated a few time, like the way Americans would say “um, um” and can absolutely sound bad without context or understanding.

Bu Zi Dao? That is hardly programmatic.
Mandarin for "that"is much more problematic. It’s “neiga”. And we typically say it multiple times. So imagine someone pointing at someone and says “neiga neiga”
