SituationCake@aussie.zone â¨2⊠â¨weeks⊠agoI wouldnât say itâs something Iâm âin toâ specifically. I do read/watch sci-fi, but itâs not the dominant or only genre for me. I happily enjoy literature, crime, non-fiction, general fiction, biography. Sci-fi is so broad, itâs not just spaceships and laser beams. Just like any other genre, thereâs unreadable junk and then also brilliant works that leave you thinking long after youâve read them. I like the same things about it that I do in other genres, eg human struggles, mysteries to solve, comedy, redemption, action, discovery, drama etc. I mostly read the softer stuff where the sci-fi is not really the point of the story, just happens to allow a âwhat ifâ scenario that our current reality doesnât.
