Yeah there are days when you catch some cold that puts you off for a day, but you’re back on your feet one-two days later if you rest.
I’d take a week off to be sure in this case.

It used to not be a thing, but a right-wing government back in the 90s (or 80s?) pushed to have 2 days without pay, and they landed on 1 day as a compromise.
