“But if nobody has to work who will be making the food?” Is what I usually get when I say something like this and tbh I don’t have an answer for that besides me believing that people naturally want to work and lots of people would enjoy doing lots of the jobs. But I have no clear picture of how such world would work, just being naive that people would do these jobs even if they weren’t forced to do them. Like every basic need is free but to get extra stuff you’d still need to work. Then of course what do you qualify as basic need and how someone could twist it.

Eventually? Yes if you wouldn’t clean it. But I assume they were cleaned and oiled after each use.

How does the force actually work? Could you just pinch/crush the opponents spine to make them paralysed from neck down?

I don’t know history of uranium very much but wasn’t it first used to paint ceramics and later radium for glowing watches? Uranium bombs were made later probably after it was used to generate power. But I wonder what our world would look like if there was not as much scare of nuclear power. Perhaps bit like fallouts world? We still have some time left to 23rd October 2077 thankfully.

We do have small hut with few apple trees and some blackberries that we cook from when they grow(we get plenty of apples). Planning to plant something this year but didn’t decide yet, probably tomatoes. Not sure what could grow well in soil that has clay and with low maintenance.

Also just use bimetal temperature instead of making everything be digital, in lot’s of cases you don’t need that much and it is much cheaper to replace single simple cheap component than whole electronic board that costs half the price of new machine. Got dad that works on gastro repairs and this is quite common.

I’m assuming the hotter temperatures are also increased by how much concrete there is compared to back then. Also the floods. They build warehouses on fields and then be surprised all the water goes into rivers. I’m in my late 20s and remember ice skating on local river in the city and there being more snow that lasted longer. Now if it even snows it’s gone in few days.
