Teenagers are making that tough transition into adulthood. Unless he absolutely reeks I say let em figure things out. They’re exploring new ideas, and if they’re to be an adult they should be able to make their own decisions (within reason).

- Comment on Jeep Introduces Pop-Up Ads That Appear Every Time You Stop 1 week ago:
Article Summery:
In a move that has left drivers both frustrated and bewildered, Stellantis has introduced full-screen pop-up ads on its infotainment systems. Specifically, Jeep owners have reported being bombarded with advertisements for Mopar’s extended warranty service. The kicker? These ads appear every time the vehicle comes to a stop. Imagine pulling up to a red light, checking your GPS for directions, and suddenly, the entire screen is hijacked by an ad. That’s the reality for some Stellantis owners. Instead of seamless functionality, drivers are now forced to manually close out of ads just to access basic vehicle functions.
One Jeep 4xe owner recently shared their frustration on an online forum, detailing how these pop-ups disrupt the driving experience. Stellantis, responding through their “JeepCares” representative, confirmed that these ads are part of the contractual agreement with SiriusXM and suggested that users simply tap the “X” to dismiss them. While the company claims to be working on reducing the frequency of these interruptions, the damage to customer trust may already be done.

I copied the entire post so nobody would have to go there. I linked the source because it would be disrespectful not to. Best I can do.

Agreed.
Trump and his partners are clearly trying to rip down the current government. I personally am not opposed to that. What we’ve had in place was a dumpster fire. What they want to replace it with is what concerns me.

This was from /r/50501 It’s not intended to be defeatist. It’s intended to lite a fire under people’s asses and get them motivated. Very good points otherwise!

Maybe for training but to just use the model locally for a solo user, a GPU isn’t needed at all.

If I had to guess, this is a daughter trying to fill the void of a father figure. I don’t see a problem with the pairing but the reason is unfortunate. The dynamic won’t be normal but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
The man will likely move on when he realizes he can’t get more than the physical aspect from this. He’s probably just reliving his youth for a bit anyway. It’ll pass.

Upvoting this 1) Because that story with the poodle is amazing, and 2) Having lived that charmed life and then dated a black person for a few years, it really is eye opening how different their reality is in the US vs white folks.

Anyway, thanks for explaining Cavana. I assumed it was just an image editor. That does seem to fill a niche. Still lame that a circle is an upsell but I can see the appeal of the app.
