GDPR violations result in fines. It also applies to entities engaged in commercial activities.
You are foreign to me and in fact a lot of misinformation and propaganda comes from the US. I would not block access to US media.
You still haven’t answered what would to the Lemmy instances you currently use and allow anonymous (email as verification is not very hard) posting.

No anonymous posting means what? Credit card verified accounts? Mobile number verified accounts? On all websites or just ones that meet a threshold like Facebook and Twitter?
What happens to sites hosted outside the US like the lemmy instance you use? Are they blocked? Does the US try to prosecute them and get them extradited like they do with pirate sites?

Who are this “we” that should not allow political discussions online ? How would that be enforced?
Would Lemmy.world (the “foreign” social media) have to apply these US restrictions (via political pressure on it’s host countries) or will the US block access to it?
Or your home instance sh.it just.works?
Do you even remotely realize how authoritarian your position is?

The bot posts in world news which allows non us news.
It not trying to criticize the right wing bias of political discourse it’s trying to normalize it and apply it to non US issues and media.
- Comment on Why are peole hating on .world? 1 month ago:
Its an incredibly pro US biased instance despite not being hosted in the US and having a .world domain.
Greatest hits are politics@lemmy.world forbidding non-US topics and of course news@lemmy.world and its bias check bot according to which every non US media is left wing biased.

ROFL
If Microsoft really cares for more users keeping their system updated they should fix their update process.
While some updates require a reboot on other OSes for them to take effect they don’t require work during the reboot maximizing the downtime.
Which is on top of the work done before rebooting, on the background, unprompted, destroying system performance.

I don’t know about Italian but I can tell you Greek Americans plainly can’t speak Greek.
Same with ‘ethnic’ cuisine, they don’t put lettuce in “Greek” salad because that’s how it was originally but because that’s what was available and accepted in the US.
Its also far more likely that very regional or even just family traditions/customs/recipes got attributed to whole nations rather than an elite managing to wipe it out from the original group.

No that’s the 2nd amendment of the US constitution which only protects free speech from the US government. That it is legal for private actors to censor does not mean that free speech is not being censored.
Its so irrelevant as .world is not a US website.
- Comment on How is Lemmy better than Reddit? 3 months ago:
Much more diverse opinions mainly because there are more non-Americans percentage wise.
- Comment on Why are people downvoting the MediaBiasFactChecker not? 3 months ago:
So because spammers exist you created an eveng greater spammer?
What does “third opinion” mean? That its supposedly “neutral” or “unbiased”?

The controller had a weird and unfortunate shape. It’s still miles better than any PS controller due to Sony’s refusal to put the stick on a natural position for the the thumb.
Sega and then Microsoft (after the first huge iteration) got both general shape and analog positions right.
Cartridge is an indefensible choice, it was perhaps borne of Nintendo’s falling out with Sony that prejudiced them against CD. Nintendo probably liked that they were more difficult to pirate as well, gamers not as much evidently. The Gamecube going optical but with a bizarre reversed mini-dvd is even worse.
There’s also a complete absence of software from your post, whatever it’s shortcomings Nintendo and Rare pushed some amazing games on it which people remember fondly.
