I experienced a poop knife in real life. In Boy Scouts, there’s a thing where you can go sail in a boat off the coast of Florida for a week. When the captain explained the rules, he talked about a stash of disposable knives in the head (bathroom).
Basically, he had issues with kids trying to hold their poops until they got to the mid-week stop on shore. They wouldn’t make it and ended up clogging the 30 foot boat’s plumbing with their product, so he explained that if we took a big enough shit we had to cut it up before flushing.

A rattlesnake can certainly communicate using sound, but is that language? Bright colors can communicate ideas of “do not eat this” across species as well, but they wouldn’t fit my mental model of a language.

Yeah I don’t bother seeding things that are widely available. My connection isn’t good enough. I seed things that I have personal interest in with very few other seeders. Obscure media, software, and ebooks mostly.

Technically you don’t need a period for a valid address. “a@a” is a valid email address.

A lot of people break up the toilet and put it in their normal trash in pieces. I paid $100 for a junk collection company to pick up my 35 year old toilet.

I wish I could agree that we need studies to convince our rational leaders in government to make the rational actions based on available evidence, because that’s what drives changes in government.
