House prices are going down. Just not by as much as many expect because ultimately there is still a housing shortage I guess. Also inflation is perhaps offsetting the actual drop in figures but technically is lowering prices too.

I mean there are also other countries in the world with various varieties of conservatives but I see your point

I mean, while that could be correct I also consider that if far right spaces get banned regularly then those people are refugees that will invade the next closest thing?
Obviously the next closest thing to far right, is center right. Does that make the center right inherently bad? I don’t think so necessarily on principle.
I disagree with conservative views almost entirely but its not something that I believe shouldn’t have discussion spaces, unlike far right politics which can just get fucked with their disdain for basic human rights, they don’t deserve a seat at the table at all.
I suppose ultimately it’s down to moderation isn’t it. If conservatives want a seat at the table they have to keep their lunatics in check and if they don’t then yeah don’t see why I should cry over it really, and thats true of all online communities.

I mean honestly it’s probably near impossible to discuss conservative politics online these days without the far right loonies invading, taking over and getting the place banned lol.
Also I wonder if conservatives would be put off lemmy given the political stance of its creators - even though that shouldn’t matter being free and open and not controlled by any one person, you know how people are.

Yep, in the UK it’s part of the theory test, you have to know how and when to check air and fluid levels in order to get a licence.

Where are you from where those things are not part of a driving test?

Maybe they should release it on other consoles then.
- Comment on Why does the URL field not do anything? 1 year ago:
Yeah I mean that makes sense and follows how reddit functions, I think the UI could do with some reworking or clarification on that though. I’m surely not the only one to be confused by it. Ultimately if it lets you fill in 4 boxes and submits fine with no errors, its a little strange that one of the boxes doesn’t do anything.

- Comment on Why uppercasing every single word in topics became so popular? 1 year ago:
I hate it - whoever invented title case needs their head checked. It makes it far more difficult to read.
For short titles it’s fine which is probably the use to be fair, but when people on reddit/lemmy write a short essay as a ‘title’ man that is annoying.

I still think it’s impressive and unexpected though. Divinity never broke 100k players even which I assume is the second highest cRPG player count.
For a game to go over 5x bigger on Steam than any other game of its genre? Thats impressive.

I’m pleasantly surprised how many people are playing this game. I figured that DnD although popular, was still kinda a niche. Yet this is topping Steam charts which is great to see. Hopefully it means more of this quality to come, there is obviously a big market for it.
I can’t wait to get home and get stuck in!

I’d be curious to know that too but I can’t find any info on it. I mean it must surely be a contender because other huge releases typically have preload.

I mean there is no perfect option there really, you’re gonna piss people off either way. I would say though locking people from playing a full price AAA game they paid for is probably more controversial than not being able to provide a preload.

It starts pretty gentle and has plenty of tooltips.
Ultimately as well like if you’re in combat it’s turn based, if you don’t mind tabbing out to look things up every now and then I don’t think you will run into too many problems.
Probably wouldn’t hurt to watch a 5-10 minute D&D gameplay overview on youtube before though just so you know what to expect.

The early access was only a very small portion of the game
