Can you link to a single case where someone has been charged with theft for making money off something they’ve copied?
Or are you using some definition of the word theft that’s different from the legal definition?
- Comment on Listen to the AI-Generated Ripoff Songs That Got Udio and Suno Sued 6 days ago:
That’s not what theft is. I think you mean copyright infringement.

She seems to have a lot of negative stories she tells herself about money. Luck definitely plays a part in things, but it’s not everything. I think with her attitude things are unlikely to change for her, unfortunately.

I guess you can’t quantify how much the name has helped it. How many people remember it because of its quirky name. Without knowing both numbers it’s hard to know if it’s a net positive or negative.

Tragic. Has violence against women been increasing or are we just reporting on the trend more?

The women who would be impressed by this probably deserve the men who do it.

They use them but they don’t take them. If I steal your bike, you no longer have a bike. If I copy your bike, you still have your bike.
- Comment on What do you personally use AI for? 2 months ago:
Copying is not stealing. It’s corporate propaganda conflating the two.

Unless you live in one of the many countries that have good employment laws.
- Comment on Decades ago, I learned the perks and pitfalls of paid work. So what do today's young Australians want from employment? 5 months ago:
I personally agree with you, but the counter argument is that would make it much harder for 15yo kids to get a job. Most employers would prefer to hire someone a bit more mature if it cost the same. So allowing a lower minimum wage for teenagers evens the playing field a bit.
