- Comment on What's the deal with breakfast in bed? 2 weeks ago:
When you brush your teeth and don’t use mouthwash right after, the tooth paste forms a protective barrier to help prevent erosion and acid damage.
- Comment on If a girl asks you if you're big, are you supposed to lie or not? 2 weeks ago:
If you answer with anything other than some variation of “why don’t you find out for yourself?” You’re going to blow your chances.
- Comment on Microsoft Appears to Have Quietly Ditched the 10% Xbox Game Pass DLC Discount — Including for COD Points 4 weeks ago:
Yeah I think you misread the headline lol. There’s nothing positive here.
- Comment on Xbox consoles are now getting a fullscreen Xbox Game Pass Ultimate ad at boot, just a day after a 50% price hike was announced 4 weeks ago:
I actually stepped my subscription tier down because of the price increase on Ultimate. Wasn’t worth the 50% jump for me.
- Comment on If you had to buy a new TV, what brand would you get? 1 month ago:
You need to be mindful of specs when looking at commercial panels. Video quality is not a primary focus so I’ve seen them use 8 bit and even 6 bit panels instead of the recommended 10 bit or 12 bit panels.
- Comment on If you had to buy a new TV, what brand would you get? 1 month ago:
LG OLED. You can find last year’s models at some price clubs. I’ve seen the 65” C4 for like $1100 which is great.

That’s a wonderful stupid reply lol. Up you go.
- Comment on Losing my resolve 2 months ago:
What’s wild about Teams’ popularity is that nobody actually seems to like it. I know Slack gets some shit too, but I’ve also seen people defend it. I freaking hate teams. Nothing about it works exceptionally well. It’s just a hodgepodge of kind of working features.
- Comment on We too often minimize the sacrifices parents make for us 2 months ago:
While everyone else can argue about what level of sacrifice constitutes an actual sacrifice, I want to point something out:
The dad isn’t sacrificing anything in this image. He’s simply helping his son across lol.

Grok?
- Comment on is there any way to invest ethically as a sole individual? 3 months ago:
IMO, the amount you’re going to be investing isn’t going to make a change, so you should invest in a low cost index fund and then find others ways to contribute to the world (especially your local community).
We are all individuals who can’t change the world by ourselves but we can impact the people around us through small acts of kindness and that impact will be MUCH greater than investing small amounts of money in “ethical” stocks.

- Comment on Do the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few? 3 months ago:
It’s an easy choice when the few or the one does not refer to oneself. However, when a person is asked to put the needs of everyone else above their own individual needs, it becomes a much more difficult conversation for any person to have.
- Comment on Should I apologize to this person? 4 months ago:
The whole “long story short” seems to be a key missing piece to determining what you should do.
But also…Did she “yada yada” sex?
- Comment on how did you and your partner change after having a baby? 5 months ago:
Perfectly stated
- Comment on If my county passes a new tax for um lets say a new jail. They staff it and build it and everything with the tax money. How come it seems the tax is there forever? Why not get rid of it when built? 5 months ago:
The jail then needs staff. It needs maintenance. It needs utilities. The monetary needs just shift from construction to operation.

- Comment on If everyone goes to baseball games by car and everyone gets wasted like Randy Marsh, how do people get home? 7 months ago:
While there is drinking at the games, I don’t believe most people drink as much as baseball games as they do at soccer (football) games. MLB, especially, really tries to present itself as a family oriented sport.

It’s funny how that reply, 5 years ago, would have probably been from someone on the right who also loved rolling coal. Now, that same reply can be from someone on the left.

Overheard on a game chat recently. Two guys arguing whether 100 guys could take on a silverback gorilla. One of them insisted that silverbacks have impenetrable skin lol.
