There is still hope in projects like baldurs gate 3

It’s sad that the commenter allows his children to go cyberpsycho on virtual bystanders but won’t allow them to see a nipple.
There is a reason the game has an age restriction.

Having sex is probably something you will do in your life, mass murder is not.
And just as hitting several hookers in downtown los Santos with a virtual bolide won’t make you a deranged carkiller, being exposed to a scene where two people have virtual and consentual intercourse won’t make you a sex-driven pervert.

You allow them to murder hundreds of virtual people or creatures, but sex is a bridge too far?

How can anyone approve this. I mean I understand we test medication on animals with the goal of helping thousands or more people. But this is just unethical and indefensible.

Thx for the tip. What does this mod do?

After reading a book on Roman emperors I started playing Rome 2. Because of the problematic launch I never progressed far in the campaign. It seems the game was properly patched as I’m having a blast now.
I always enjoyed Rome TW, but it lacks some core game mechanics that Rome 2 does way better: political scheming, civil war, provinces, garrison, … I also loathed the anachronistic representation of certain cultures in Rome TW.
In short: even if it’s already 10 years old, I can’t recommend the game enough, certainly when you are a romanophile!

Another issue I had with exoprimal (besides having only 3 maps and one gamemode, the mtx clusterfuck) was the UI. It was all over the place both in-game and in the menu’s. No idea where to look for.
V risings build menu was tedious as well. Putting everything in one big line made finding your pieces and their variants hard.
On menu’s: I don’t mind a few more clicks as long as the information is found intuitively and clearly presented. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel. What I do like though is presenting them in an immersive fashion like metro exodus or an oldie: medal of honor multiplayer.
I think age of empires did a solid job of giving you the information you needed. Even as a little kid I understood what I was looking at.
