Doesn’t look like those instances are blocked on your instance, you can check here: lemm.ee/instances.
Might be worth checking whether there’s any posts directly on the instance, rather than via your instance.

Feel like this it probably more on the pension fund managers than anything else. I remember reading that Saudi ARAMCO is wholly owned by two investment vehicles which are called something obvious like Big Oil Investing Co, but because these two companies are only an investment companies and fund managers do so little due diligence, a lot of ESG oriented investments end up indirectly investing in Saudi oil.

Sounds like something like you’d hear an authoritarian regime doing. I get the idea of backing the party line, but this seems a step too far. Discourse should be encouraged not shunned.

- Comment on England and Wales judges told not to jail criminals -including rapists- as prisons full 1 year ago:
The government’s pledge to build 20,000 new prison places by the mid-2020s, which was a key Conservative manifesto pledge at the 2019 election, has been quietly dropped. Less than half will have been delivered by March 2025, according to official projections. So far, 5,500 places have been delivered. Plans for three new prisons in Lancashire, Leicestershire and Buckinghamshire have all been delayed owing to problems gaining planning permission.

- Comment on Luton Airport fire: Flights suspended for most of day as 40,000 affected - live 1 year ago:
From the article:
Cause of fire confirmed
The cause of the huge blaze at London’s Luton Airport has been named as a diesel powered vehicle.
“We have no intelligence at this stage to suggest that this was anything other than an accidental fire that started in one of the vehicles that had not long arrived at the airport. It was not an EV,” Andrew Hopkinson, chief fire officer for Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service told reporters on Wednesday morning, The Mirror reported.
He added: “This was a diesel powered vehicle.”

Oh for sure, it’s far too simple to just impose a limit. And if any limits imposed are too punitive, as you say, they’ll likely do more harm than good.
