Even better, Shelly. Their devices have optional cloud connectivity, but also have a local API. they’re compatible with home assistant and their bluetooth sensors use the BTHome standard, which works beautifully with home assistant as well.

Indeed, just let them be responsible for waking up on time. If they wake up late, the consequences are for them. Don’t want the offered solution, find your own, it’s not my problem if you’re late for school/whatever.

The social stuff may be bloat to you, but it helps me to see which friends are online, and let’s me join their games or invite them to mine.
There’s nothing that epic adds that I care about and I refuse to buy their exclusives, because that encourages them even more to keep doing that.
Steam may not be perfect, but it’s pretty damn good. I have enough with GOG and Steam, and don’t want to add multiple storefronts to the list of launchers on my PC.

I don’t have an issue with the soft limit on the number of keys, if the limitations aren’t too strict. The way it’s described makes it sound like it’s just to prevent abuse.
I didn’t even have a problem with the price parity, since that’s limited to the sale of said Steam keys on other store platforms, which makes sense. The developer can still hand out keys for free, just not sell them cheaper anywhere else. I would however find it problematic if they also required price parity for sales of non Steam key copies on other stores.

If they offer it on steam and then sell Steam keys on their own website, that should get them the most from each sale…

Just use the washable ones, made from organic cotton. Lower environmental impact, shorter time until potty trained as well on average. Still not as good as not putting extra people on the planet though 😁

I was a bit skeptical about paying for search, but after trying out the free plan, I subbed and later upgraded to the family plan. No regrets.

Indeed, different price point though, but shouldn’t be more expensive in the long run. I like what they’re doing and live my AMD 13

I don’t remember it being that bad on my 1070 mobile laptop (7th gen Intel i5 H if I’m not mistaken), but it was sub 25 fps also. On my PC it ran better, but after upgrading to a 3080 with a 5800X3D was when it ran smoothly at higher resolutions, although the game also had received some updates by then.

I had some cars that were following an invisible road above where the real road was a few times, and although that broke immersion a bit, I also still had a lot of fun with the game.

You’re certainly right about that!

Honestly though, I believe the early issues with the game were mostly on consoles. On a decently specced PC, the game would run nicely right after launch, with some bugs, but nothing game breaking. I got it right after launch day and enjoyed myself quite a bit with it. The police and the way the cars drove were the things that bothered me the most.

If you like modifiers, privacy and no ads in your search, try out Kagi. Since you don’t pay with your data, you do pay with your money however, but I find it worth it.

- Comment on Today I finally picked up my phone from in-warranty repair (motherboard replacement), I found out the camera doesn't work. 1 year ago:
If that happened in Europe, that’s illegal. The warranty period is suspended while your product is away for warranty repairs. Little side note, that only applies to the legal 2 year warranty protection, which is between the buyer and the seller (which is often not the manufacturer).
