One might think so, but the number 3 in the potential title makes this highly unlikely.

Depends on what you expect. As a mobile gaming device with probably the best input options, it’s still a very good choice. It might not reach the graphical fidelity of other devices, but the others won’t sustain very long without charging either. Plus the deck probably has the best system from what I’ve heard, I do own a Deck but never tried a similar device but there’s nothing really to complain about with the Deck.
For what I pay, it’s perfectly fine. Your choice of games might play a role as well.

The usual 50% off was already a very good deal in my opinion. If you ever considered looking into this game there is no better time than now. An absolute masterpiece and one of my favorite games of all time.
Also finally you can manage your inventory outside of the holy mountain (tinkering not included by default). This was the primary reason I played on beta the last months. Once my current run ends, I’m switching to stable.

BitTorrent is a pretty big part of the Internet though.
- Comment on How are 144hz screen possible? 5 months ago:
The reason 60Hz was so prominent has to do with the power line frequency. Screens originated as cathode ray tube (CRT) TVs that were only able to use a single frequency, which was the one chosen by TV networks. They chose a the power line frequency because this minimizes flicker when recording light powered with the same frequency as the one you record with, and you want to play back in the same frequency for normal content.
This however isn’t as important for modern monitors. You have other image sources than video content produced for TV which benefit from higher rates but don’t need to match a multiple of 60. So nowadays manufacturers go as high as their panels allow, my guess is 144 exists because that’s 624Hz (the latter being the “cinematic” frequency). My monitor for example is 75 Hz which is 1.550Hz, which is the European power line frequency, but the refresh rate is variable anyways, making it can match full multiples of content frequency dynamically if desired.

I always install Simon Tatham’s puzzle collection on all my devices, if you can look past the dated UI, there are a ton of good games in there

It’s the same for Linux though, if you mount any drive, your user or rather UID/GID needs appropriate permissions to perform any action. Can even happen that you mount a disk with your old home directory somewhere and can’t access it because your UID changed between installations (though it’s 1000 for most people).
