FOR SURE DO NOT DRIVE, if this is your first time smoking you will not be able to navigate to the toilet let alone drive.
Depending on your situation you can ask for a ride, or walk back? Or even call your parents to pick you up. I would be much calmer if a friend of mine(cuz I don’t have kids) calls and tells me I got a bit drunk I am afraid to drive.

If you talk like that you will not get weed, you will get your ass kicked.
My suggestion is just find more friends, go to parties, go to college… There is literally zero chance you go to a college party and there is no weed. It is illegal where I live so even some younger assistants smoked…
But buying it for yourself is a bit different, and you just don’t seem to have the social skills to manage that.
Additionally smoking with friends at a party is very different than smoking alone at home. You can get paranoid and with friends around they can calm you.
Finally wait until you are older, maybe 25 then your brain is more developed and you will fuck it up less.

First, not a coat of paint that is solid 20cm of styrofoam on the outside and that increases the energy efficiency of heating greatly;
Second, yes, they are loud and usually smell of sauerkraut but keep in mind these things we not made to be the perfect living space with all comforts, these things are a solution to homelessness and they are WILDLY successful in that. They are dirt cheap to make, making them dirt cheap to buy(at least in the beginning) and very space effective for housing large quantities of people.
So the question in essence is not would you prefer a commie block to a modern luxury apartment, but weather you will prefer it to being homeless.

I am very sympathetic to the guy given I expect to be in the same position in year and a half or so, but the article imo is shit. AI has very little to do with this and it’s more of the economic conditions these past two years.
In my experience developers are the least class conscious people I know and the puddle deep analysis expected from that sort of people is perfectly captured in this article.
IDK maybe I am just in denial and coping.
