Also (sorry, but old guy here) the nozzle sometimes unexpectedly sprays sideways. It’s no worry if you’re sitting down, but if you’re standing up you might’ve just wet your pants… or the pants of the unlucky schmoe at the neighboring urinal.
- Comment on Why Trump Is Lying About Disaster Relief 2 months ago:
Sorry and it’s nothing personal, @silence7, but after years of Trump and tens of thousands of his lies, the answer seems so obvious it’s not worth a click. He lies because he lies because he lies.

Appreciated.
Github is not user-friendly for non-techy people, so I’d have no idea how to make a feature request. Which is OK, no worries.

Trump’s fascination for Taylor Swift is… weird.
- Comment on Defying Crisis in Local News, The Star Tribune Expands 3 months ago:
Thanks for this!
I’ve spent a grand total of about four hours in Minnesota, but The Star Tribune, or Strib, was my favorite regional paper when I lived in Wisconsin. It’s solid and surviving, at least in part because it has a deep-pockets owner who’s willing to spend. Now it’s getting bigger and better, which is rare and exhilarating.

We’re supposed to believe Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was “the mastermind of 9/11/2001” and the others were his henchmen, but I never will, not when any ‘evidence’ was obtained via torture, with no trial, and with so many years of imprisonment in a place chosen and intended to be beyond the reach of any limits to cruel and unusual punishment.

No justice here.

The ordinary rules don’t apply to corporations, and we’re suckers if we play by ordinary rules.
That’s why ‘shoplifting’ from Kroger, ‘robbing’ a Bank of America branch, ‘stealing’ cable TV from Xfinity, or ‘pirating’ movies or music from Columbia or Universal is not morally wrong. Quite the opposite, it’s the right thing to do.

The penalty? Apparently, you get banned from speaking on the record for the rest of the day, and what you said is deleted from the Congressional Record. Small price to pay, seems to me. I’d speak the truth.

Trump is your dumbass wingnut uncle, the loudmouth with an opinion he loudly shares about everything, always wrong and always mean. That’s all he is, plus money all his life, so he’s famous and about 40,000,000 dumbass wingnut uncles just love him.

It’s a longrunning frustration that needs to be addressed. At the very least it needs to be announced. But it’s a Lemmy problem, isn’t it – not a lemmy.world problem.
