Get adopted by a ninjutsu master, train your entire childhood, then compete in the kumite for your family’s honor. Watch out for Chong Li, that fucker cheats.

I never read any of the books, I kind of fell off of Clancy quite a while ago. Worth reading?

And not including Sam Fisher would also be weird.

I’m totally cool with rewarding people for making a bunch of money and giving it back to the people. Hell, make each prestige cooler. You find 100 billion in taxes? We’ll build you a little statue. You fund 1 trillion dollars in taxes? You get to be on a coin or some shit. Really put these greedy fucks incessant need for attention to work.
- Comment on There are Minimum Wages, Why Not a Maximum Wage? 2 weeks ago:
I’ll preface this by saying the 1%'s stock holdings are pretty much the last thing I’m worried about protecting. But it could be as simple as requiring your wealth to be under the limit when you file your taxes. Let’s say it’s a billion dollars (I would argue it should be much lower). If you end the year with 11 billion dollars in wealth, you owe the government 10 billion dollars. There are controls we can put in place to prevent stock manipulation, similar to the ones we have now. Just actually enforced.

I’d be fully supportive of a “maximum wealth” limit.

None of the televised major networks are “liberal”. They fall into two categories: corporate and right wing.

I wish we could get her to commit to keeping Khan.
This will be one of the biggest tests for me with regards to Harris. If she keeps Khan after the election I think she’s at least somewhat serious about cracking down on corporations.

Well hot damn, “questionable authenticity” was pretty accurate then.

Some of the decisions on this film are just…yeesh. I don’t understand why Hollywood just won’t let someone who actually likes the material do this shit. You cannot just be a good director to adapt something, you have to actually care about and understand the source material. That’s completely missing from video game movies 95% of the time.

We’ve got one that you can schedule meals through an app. Most of the smart auto feeders offer that kind of capability. Ours is set to drop a pre selected amount at 0530, 1200, and 1700.

- Comment on Are any self-cleaning cat litter boxes any good, or worth the money? 11 months ago:
I also have the pet safe for about 2 years, it’s been great so far. Definitely recommend the reusable tray if you want to keep costs down, the disposal trays are pretty pricey. I just dump the tray every 40-50 uses and it’s good to go. You have to use crystal litter though and that’s more expensive than clay stuff.

I would kill for an IMAX run of Kubrick films. Favorite director of all time and I’ve never been able to see any of his films in a theater. That first shot from The Shining in IMAX sounds like heaven.

- Comment on Are smart door locks more or less secure than traditional door locks? 1 year ago:
I pick locks as a hobby. Your door lock is almost never the point of attack. It’s way easier to break the door or windows. Only time picking would be useful is if you need to conceal that you’ve entered, which burglars don’t typically care about.

Same thing with Michael Keaton as Batman. He was still Mr Mom at that point.
