Its high time tech workers unionize. I have so much pent up feeling about this. Just don’t know where to start.

Same amount maybe, not same rate. If the first 100k is taxes at 30% and the rest is at 2%, someone making 100k pays 30k. But someone making 1 million also pays around 30k + 18k maybe. But for the 100k person the total paid was 30%, and for the 1 million person the total paid was maybe 5% of their total. Warsaw away lower.

Once we go higher up, it’s mostly intuition based a d not at all based on data - is what I’ve come to understand. So whatever the higher ups feel is what gets done. And they won’t take any hit because they already have all the savings they may need. They will switch jobs before things come crashing down. All they want to show is a slight uptick in sales or revenue to take credit.
- Comment on Do all fruits have bugs inside them, or do most commercial fruits in fact not have any bugs? 2 years ago:
It can never be either I think. It is more of “I don’t choose to eat bugs ever” than “I never eat bugs”.

But corporations have achieved very difficult things in a very short span that cost very many billions like - pivoted to AI which was very difficult until ChatGPT became popular.
