  I see where you’re coming from. I hope the kids you raise will understand how you’re trying to help them. But I know that having kids absolutely changes your plans.

  Culture is whatever you want it to be in your house and your little ones will take that into the world when they’re old enough and hopefully make it a better place for all of us.

  There were two young English teachers who came in my senior year who wore whale tails almost every day of the week. I overheard that they matched on a bonus at the end of the year because their courses had the best attendance record.

  Firearms aren’t for everyone which is where there are many decent alternatives.

  Personally, I am a fan of home pepper gel spray. Unlike other things (like a pepper pistol, or taser, or knife), you can empty the canister on the offending person and if they manage to wrestle it from you somehow, it will be empty and they can’t do anything to you with it.

  Ive never heard of pill hangover, maybe the patient is implying withdrawal symptoms. If it’s something like a narcotic pill, oxycodone and the like, then there are medications to treat the withdrawal.

  There are also benzos, antidepressants, and other types of “pills” that produce a kind of withdrawal and all of them would benefit some kind of medical intervention.

  Home remedies have their place, but some withdrawal symptoms can be life threatening. Advise this person to go the hospital to be monitored.

  It’s because they dissolve within 5 minutes of use after poking them through the plastic lid.

  I was gifted a metal collapsible one recently because of my bitching about it and it’s a better experience.

  Well, I’d argue that the medical professionals are not the direct cause of death of the patients and are in fact trying to help the patients survive.

  This is the opposite of that.
