The closest I can find is that he just seems like such a smug asshole.
Check out Tom Scott Plus! He challenges himself a lot on that channel and pushes himself out of his comfort zone! I think it’s a great display of his humility and shows him outside of his usual role as more of a narrator on his main channel.
Some of my favorites from the plus channel are the episodes where he gives his producer a tattoo, overcomes his fear of rollercoasters, and tries to learn wrestling.

It literally doesn’t matter if people know or not. As long as things run smoothly, it’s fine.

Google isn’t an ISP when it comes to youtube. Yes, they are an ISP in the context of Google fiber but this is completely different. It’s not different than if any other social media slowed down access.

Net neutrality is about ISPs though.

Depends where you travel back to. If you’re in Europe, then good luck lol.

If I don’t like what I’m paid, I go find a different place to work.
A more apt comparison would be saying that you don’t like what you’re paid but no other opportunities pay you a living wage either. You have no other options.
The reality is that presence on streaming services is essential for growth as an artist in this day and age. Youtube isn’t going to to cut it. You’re allowed to complain that a system is exploitative if it’s taking advantage of you.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. What you’re saying is basically a “you criticize society yet you live in it” argument.

No streaming platforms pay well. Are you saying that artists should pull out of all streaming services? How would new artists get their music to a general audience?
- Comment on higher wages for the servers... by the customers. Fnbs 1 year ago:
Yeah. While a service charge is annoying, when you eat in the US you already know that you’ll be adding on an extra 20% regardless. If you don’t have to leave a tip at the end, you’re paying the same amount that you would have with the tip.

Sync is still just in beta so a bunch of features are lacking. Post submission will come with time.

Eh. Toxic work culture can drive people away regardless of the pay. Obviously some people suck it up but not everyone. Ultimately the goal is to treat employees well all around. Good pay, benefits, and work culture will keep people happy.

I haven’t had any issues with it. Have you tried with an account on another instance?
