Try explaining that one after death.
“How’d you die? I got eaten by a T-Rex!”
“I, um well, I…I was going for a walk to find food and I know following this big guy who never eats the lower stuff is great, he cant reach it and the bugs that fall off the trees hes eating are great! As I was munching on a fleeing bug, the big guy burps and I looked up to see him puke. No matter how fast I tried to scurry away the goo was too much and it squished me flat”
“Oh, I’m sorry to hear that, hopefully you have better luck on this side”

im in my 40s and feel the same as you. things like fast food dont hold the same appeal, just nostalgia wishing for the ‘old taste’

- Comment on Is this what every election is like? 1 month ago:
as a ~40 year old Canadian looking from the outside at the US election
this one was crazy for sure but the last couple have been kinda out there to say the least. before the internet we Canadians always knew when it coming, but it was never covered in a 24h news cycle like now. other than daily newspaper (that was a physical unit of paper that was like social media, where we could not really choose who to follow other than politically left or right and only updated every 24h) we’d get news at 6-7pm and 11pm. then the noon news showed up. while there have always been issues between right and left, there had never been violence on the scale we see now. like Reagan getting shot, happened just after i was born, so not like it was all sunshine and rainbows but nothing like the scale that’s seen now.
this could be from the mass reporting, or people have just gone off the rails. I’m guessing option 2.

Eren and Erin are scum, dirty names that should be scrubbed from the history books, not the people, just the name.
Right along with Arron and Aron, they are also fake names and should be deleted.
Full disclosure, my name might be Aaron
- Comment on have you ever had to confront a female mob at the workplace? 1 month ago:
i wonder if this is the same person you were worried was more popular than you at work a few months ago.
after reading some of your post history, you seem like a bitter person who will never be happy. that tells me there is so much more going on here than what you have let us believe is going on.

- Comment on Do birds get fat in fall? 2 months ago:
im a bit of a bird nerd here, and while they do put pack a lot in, its not really fat as you and i would think of it. 90% of what you see is just to floof to keep warm.
my b&g macaw will put on a little weight in fall even tho hes a tropical chicken. altho admitly that could just be me feeding him differently/different times, cause of the lack of light through the winter.
- Comment on The theory that we live in a simulation involves simulants running their own simulations; wouldn't that require impossibly more resources for the main sim? 5 months ago:
Not an answer to your question , but:
What if only one person is being simulated in full, and everyone else is just simulated for the moment they interact with that original sim? That would mean only one of us on this thread is the OG sim, and the rest of us only exist because we are/were going to interact here, and now.
i smoke too much weed for this topic
- Comment on How can I improve my handwriting? 5 months ago:
id suggest finding a style you like online, print off a few pages of text thats fairly large. then trace the original to train your hand where and how to move. then practice without tracing.
No clue if it would actually work, but thats what i did when i got into calligraphy

- Comment on Ant smell 6 months ago:
i want to know how many things people had to snarf before realizing it was a tiny bug that they are smelling. how many ants were lost in noses over the years from people testing the theory?
- Comment on Cannabis 6 months ago:
this is actually one thing that has pissed me off for 30+ years. to be fair, there is 2-3 types, one for smoking, one for hemp products (non smoking/not getting high) and the wild kind.

- Comment on What's the best way to protect outdoor faucets in the winter? 11 months ago:
here in canada where it freezes 17 months out of the year, 99.9% of the houses have shutoff valve inside the house that supplies the outside tap. id recommend turning on the outside tap, then turn off the valve inside.
