  You must have misread, I’m no expert - just a biologist who tried to make an educated decision on when to spay my lab. Happy to cite sources though - looking again, the study I found most robust is longitudinal rather than Cochrane but had a very large data set which was my interest.

  This for example helped me to decide to leave my spay until after 11 months.

  I’d love to see the studies if you have some links. My opinion was formed on a Cochrane analysis of several longitudinal studies for cancer specifically in bitches by breed, so anything I can add to my research would be appreciated.

  The problem about selling only neutered dogs is that larger breeds (labradors, Newfoundland’s, boxers) need to hit maturity before being fixed to ensure proper growth and prevent future health issues. This can be up to 3 years.

  Definitely not feasible when a bitch has a litter of 10 puppies that need to be kept for 3 years before being sold to their new homes.

  I work on websites and have carried out extensive user testing to get the right non-binary honorific, and it ended up being Mx.

  Implemented it on every site I’ve worked on now.

  Absolutely. Menstrual blood is its own beast altogether. I often found that the mucus heavy days was a real blocker to actual absorbsion and often there would be a still dry but slimy tampon removed at some points.

  I visited the Smithsonian air and space museum while over from the UK a few years ago.

  I had a short space of time available, and all I wanted to see was the SR-71 blackbird and the space shuttle.

  That was the day I found out there were two air and space museums.

  Still haven’t seen either of them.

  This is me too. I’m in my late 30’s, working a full time job in a bank while completing a full time degree, trying to maintain my top-of-my-class-grade while also trying to keep the rest of my life from falling apart, and genuinely thinking - I’m going to do my masters at the top university in my country because fuck it, why not.

  I’m 37 and already broken.

  My back is killing me, the sciatica makes sitting down hard. My ankle is fucked from too many injuries doing shit like tough mudder because when you’re young you’re invincible. Top that off with an immune disorder and asthma and it’ll be a miracle if I make it to 50 with a good quality of life.
