Is there a reason why you ask this here and not just ask the staff at the shop?
Stuff like that can differ from shop to shop. So better ask the person who knows the answer.

They’ll probably have to offload that to a server farm in real time. That’s not gonna be easy.
- Comment on If so-called AI is basically just Large Language Models, how come predictive text on my phone is bollock-useless? 11 months ago:
Now guess how it feels to type German with predictive text. Most of our words can have more than a dozen different word endings depending on time and how the word is used. And that’s not taking into account that we use compound words, which word prediction pretty much cannot predict and often doesn’t even know. So spell check will mark a legal compound word as misspelled, because it doesn’t understand the concept of compound words and doesn’t know this specific word combination.
To show what I mean, the term “Danube steam boat captain’s hat” becomes “DonauDampfSchiffKapitänsMütze” (I added capital letters which shouldn’t be there to show where the next word in the compound word begins).
While this is an extreme example, it’s pretty common for compound words to consist of 4-5 words.

Tell me where Google claimed that they don’t delete comments. They obviously clear spam and other shit. And they do that completely officiall.

Then you are probably shadowbanned on Youtube directly. Can happen if you post too much shit too frequently.

Everyone here understand the point. It’s just that this point is dumb.
Tricks like that worked in the early 2000s. Nowadays, these tricks are much more likely to get you banned rather than the other way round.
All of these automod bots have features that can decypher stuff like that.

Are you new to the internet?
- Comment on YouTube comment deletion is out of control, can't say anything anymore even when completely sensible. Is there a text format (alternate characters) that allows you to bypass detection? 11 months ago:
The reason is easy. There is no text character that bypasses the non-random deletion by channel admins. If you post enough shit, they’ll put you on the banlist of their 3rd party automod bots. Every time you post anything while you are on their banlist, your comments will be automatically deleted.
And guess what: many channel admins actually share their banlists. So you aren’t on only one channel’s banlist, but on many.
Post less conspiracy shit, and you won’t get banned.
Your Google account is worthless on Youtube now.

These lots of people are a very specific bubble: the idiots who can’t behave on the internet. All the others don’t have that issue.
It’s also not autoblocking by Youtube, but you being banned by channel admins. They use bots to automatically delete any content an user posted who already posted multiple dumb/offensive/toxic posts.
Changing the letters to some similar looking letters won’t help you, because YOU are banned.
If by your own admission 50% of your posts are questionable at best, you deserve bans.

Was the assumption false?
- Comment on YouTube comment deletion is out of control, can't say anything anymore even when completely sensible. Is there a text format (alternate characters) that allows you to bypass detection? 11 months ago:
First, it’s the responsibility of channel owners to delete comments. They can use an automod from Youtube itself, which is quite bad and often doesn’t delete comments that should be deleted.
So many channel owners use open source tools that are more capable and/or do manual moderation. And they do use banlists that automatically delete all comments by users on the banlist. Considering that you admitted that 50% of your comments are problematic and worth being deleted, you probably already are on many of these banlists.
Second, you didn’t provide examples (plural), but only one example: “That’s really messed up”. You didn’t provide any context. And depending on the context, this comment could be totally not ok. E.g.: “Poor people have a right to live” - “That’s totally messed up”.
And third: By your own admission, 50% of your comments are bad and deserve to be banned. Looking at your comment history, that’s a very favourable estimate. That is toxic behaviour and you don’t get any pitty points for being sad that you get blocked.
If you don’t want to be blocked, try to keep your toxic shitposting closer to 0% and not at 50%.

Have you heard of the fact that it’s not Youtube who is deleting comments but that it’s the responsibility of the channel owners?
- Comment on When a place is called " Heights", what does "heights" mean/refer to? 11 months ago:
Because he put in the same comment, that high street and highway are called that way because they where elevated over the other streets, which is nonsense.
In fact, high street/highway are that way, because in Old English high didn’t only denote elevation, but also a high status/rank/importance.
Modern English still uses that meaning, but it’s rarer nowadays. For example, high society, high sheriff or high priest aren’t called that because they are tall.
High is also used with a lot of words where elevation doesn’t matter: high rank, high value and so on.
- Comment on When a place is called " Heights", what does "heights" mean/refer to? 11 months ago:
The term high in highway has nothing to do with elevation, but has the same meaning as in “high government official”, “high society” or “high priest”.
None of them are named so, because they are especially tall, but because they are of elevated status. Same as the highway or high street.
- Comment on When a place is called " Heights", what does "heights" mean/refer to? 11 months ago:
High Street, same as Highway, come from Old English, where high denoted not only elevation, but also status/rank/quality.
You can see this in a lot of other Modern English words. For example, a high sheriff, a high priest or high society aren’t called high because they are very tall.

That was a crazy time.
I still have my HTC Universal, which was an absolute flagship in 2005.
My next phone was a Motorola Droid 3, a mit-ranger from 2011.
If you put both of them side by side, these phones could be from different planets.

Minimum order quantity for the populated board is 2. That costs, iirc, around €20 for both plus shipping (if you are patient, that’s a few more €).
This micro soldering part can by now be ordered to be included in the assembly, so that you don’t have to solder it. I haven’t tried the process of ordering extended parts from JLCPCB, but if that works, that’s another ~€10. Otherwise you’ll have to source it yourself and end up with a similar price.
The Blackberry keyboards go for €3-6 on Aliexpress.
A 5-pack of the USB connectors is about €10 on Amazon, but on Ali you can get one for ~€1.
That’s all the electronics, so for two of them, that’s about €40-50.
You also need a 3D print, which costs around €1 if you print it yourself or get a friend to do it. If you order it, that can be anything from €10 to €50. The cost of these services varies wildly.

We’ll at least get swappable batteries in the EU from 2027 on. From then on it will be illegal to sell phones without swappable batteries.

They are really nice. I wouldn’t want to go without one of these.
It does require the full set of “maker skills”, so it’s not that easy to make. If I get some time, I could maybe cut down on the need for soldering.
What you could do, though, is ask someone at fiverr to make it for you.
You need someone with Blender skills to adjust the 3D print file to your phone.
You need to get it printed (you can use any 3D print service for that, e.g. JLCPCB).
You need to order the PCB (that’s easy, no need for someone else here).
You need to solder the two hand-solder components onto the PCB. The cheapest way is probably to get a phone/laptop repair shop to do it for you. For someone with good soldering skills, that’s like 5min of work. They do that for very cheap.

If you go for used devices, you can quite easily get an outdated entry level phone for free and a decently useable one for <€30.
You can even get new entry level phones for as cheap as €70.
So it’s very much a market where you can spend whatever you want.
A flagship phone is priced like a luxurity toy, because that’s exactly what it is.
And an entry level phone is incredibly cheap so that people who have no money can still get one. €70 with 2 years of usage is less than €3/month (realistically though, if you are in this kind of situation, you hold on to a phone for much longer).
Over here, if you are poor enough, you’ll even get a free phone plan.

Yeah, my post was a bit of hyperbole, but I’ve been to a fancy restaurant a while ago, where they did make you pay for cutlery and also for the table separately.
But they didn’t have a take-away option.

Hey, look at our cheap food!
Oh, btw, we didn’t tell you, but it’s actually 18% more expensive than the prices on the menu.
Also, it’s $10 extra for the plates and silverware.
And we also charge you for eating in as well, that’s another $10.
And if you don’t tip on top of that, we get really angry.
Please leave a 5 star review!
