I bet, they are still technically good displays that can potentially surpass most modern LCDs.
OLED does beat them in every way though now

You are correct. They were susceptible to burn in and dimming over time but did not have a back light.
I never owned a plasma display because they were too expensive. CRT until 08 for me
I should’ve corrected that after my wikipedia dive

Bad viewing angles, poor contrast ratios, poor refresh rate and poor display speed.
I was not saying that they were non existent or unreliable. The technology was just poor at that time and beaten by Plasma displays in those areas
Plasma displays had 2 problems though (besides cost) They were heavier than LCDs and their backlights would dim over time.

In that era you had CRTs or Rear Projection TVs.
Rear Projection was bigger (55" 4:3) but often times was susceptible to burn-in and had a worse quality picture compared to a CRT
Before LCDs it was plasma which until the the late 2000s which had the most technical advantages over LCD Refresh rate, contrast. LCDs couldn’t really match them until the 2010s (I never had a plasma display though so I don’t fully understand plasma)
DLP was a thing and could get up to and over 80" while maintaining quality but DLP could not be wall mounted as they were quite big like rear projection screens

Just worth pointing out, changing water source in Flint Michigan and not adding corrosion inhibitors seemed to do an excellent job for a short period.

At least in my state they can only really confirm or deny that you worked for them.
That’s only in an official capacity. People can say whatever they want if it is a backdoor reference.

Packaging is everything and this could be neat…
Everything the flipper zero does can be achieved with an ESP32 and CC1101 which runs around $10 yet the flipper is a $200 device
Packaging is everything… my flipper kicks ass

The top three are used in California.
I mainly stick with Dude and Buddy (Buddy being my go to for strangers “Thanks Buddy”)
In my office a few years back I started ironically calling people “Homie” and that overtime morphed into a gender neutral term of endearment we all used for each other.
I really wonder where “Homie” fits into this

- Comment on Serious statement: I don't understand the argument that not voting for Harris was the morally correct thing to do, because of Gaza. Why does anyone believe this? 8 months ago:
I believe that Harris had indicated her policy on Biden would’ve been different but I wasn’t entirely sure how.
She could’ve probably said something like “October 7th WAS a terrorist attack and Israel has a right to defend itself. However, there is a difference between defense and suppression” and likely not pissed any sensible people on any side off too much.
That said; My opinion matters very little as I do t have a meaningful connection to the conflict other than hating to see un necessary suffering.

Old school YouTubers started and sold Maker Studios. I think ShayCarl, Lisa Nova and Kassam G are some that were part of that.

I think it’s amusing that we have gone full circle on Soulja Boy… I remember Ice-T had an entire mixtape dissing Soulja Bay more than a decade ago. I don’t listen to much newer music but I think that some of the older artists in any genre like to hate on some of the new guys.
