I recognized the channel and read the DeArrow title, but still checked if he actually launched it myself 😅

You don’t have to report this for spam, this is a parody video explaining how the heart works with crypto jargon, not a real pump and dump

@titty_wizard@lemmy.world could you reduce the clickbaityness of the video title a little? I know it fits the theme, but it makes it hard to figure out what it’s about (as you can tell by the downvotes 😋). DeArrow gives me this title: “Explaining Heart Physiology Using Crypto Jargon”.

My grandpa used to have an uncle who had flamingo’s. I have have no clue how he they ended up in some muddy ditch next to a Dutch farm somewhere around the 60’s, but it apparently wasn’t the first time he ended up with some tropical animal. My grandpa had to take care of them for a while, but didn’t really know what to feed them. He also had some parrots and would buy food for them from the miller. Considering these were also birds, just larger, he went to the miller and asked for food for flamingo’s. The miller did not know what flamingo’s were. He therefore explained that they were large pink birds. The miller was apparently not amused, thinking he was pulling his leg and sent him away with a few bags of chicken feed.

You can use Uptime Kuma. It’s just 1 container with an SQLite database. It shows outages, uptime, and can sent notifications about service status.

I don’t think a site can view your system volume. They can however see if a tab is specifically muted developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/…/MutedInfo

- Comment on Why is lemmy.ca so much faster than lemmy.world? 1 month ago:
I recently checked the uptime of several large Lemmy instances and found out that the latency of Lemmy.world was roughly 500ms while the latency of other instances was about 100ms. I suspect this is due to the fact that the daily active user count of Lemmy.world is substantially higher than the other top instances.

Yes. Maybe we just live different lives but I’ve never encountered someone even closely similar to what he’s parodying.

That title does not give a good impression, but I’ve watched the first minute (don’t have more time gotta go to work) and it seems like it’s a somewhat serious video.

- Comment on Why the French Police are so Brutal 2 months ago:
I didn’t think rule 5 applied because this is about the history of French Police. It doesn’t mention any political party (except the Nazi’s) and only briefly mentions the involvement of De Gaulle. I’ll reconsider if multiple people who watched it disagree.

You could het away with murder if your lawyer talked the charges out of it’s context token limit.

Perhaps when we have real AGI, but I wouldn’t want an LLM to decide someone’s fate.

I’m pretty sure it’s an automated system that makes these issues. The accounts looked like bots. However, that only makes it even weirder.
- Comment on AI generated issue 3 months ago:
People often use a ridiculous amount of emoji’s in their readme, perhaps seeing it was a README triggered something in the LLM to talk like a readme?
- Comment on AI generated issue 3 months ago:
They don’t, because it’s not an actual issue for any human reading it. The README contains the data and the repo is just for coordination, but the LLM doesn’t understand that.
