Yes if I’m desperate. That’s what people are during WW1 and WW2.
But now, no because of feelings, and it’s the same with vegans who don’t eat animals. But they don’t accept that though, it’s strange.
- Comment on The Biggest Lie About Veganism - AsapSCIENCE Response 1 year ago:
I can say the same thing to you: cows are too dumb to feel anything, I’m free to eat them.
- Comment on The Biggest Lie About Veganism - AsapSCIENCE Response 1 year ago:
The biggest lie of veganism: plants have feelings too but vegans don’t seem to care, why?
- Comment on What makes a content creator an influencer?? 1 year ago:
Nothing. They call themselves influencers because it’s a trendy buzzword.

It’s not shocking for me. They don’t make real coffee, how would they know how to make food?
- Comment on Long Haired Men, How Do You Take Care of Your Hair?? 1 year ago:
No receding hairline for me and I’ve been tying my hair for 20 years.
Also I would check this link, it’s for curly hair but they have good advice: lemmy.world/post/661730

That’s the “American and legal” version of free speech. Was there. No free speech before they wrote the constitution ?

You haven’t lost anything. Mine was overheating when I played for more than 4 hours. We have emulators like Redream now.

- Comment on Question for software developers: how do you organize your To Do list at work? 1 year ago:
There are a billion ways to organize your stuff. I used org-mode a lot in the past but it’s a bit difficult to setup, especially on Windows. Nowadays, I use a mix of GTD, johnnydecimal.com, Markdown (with Sublime Text), and taskwarrior.org. Don’t forget calendars too (like the one on Outlook) because you can freely add meetings or things to do inside this application.
You have to find something that works for you, there is no perfect solution. You can also ask the same question on !experienced_devs@programming.dev.

I’m in France and I confirm. I never left a company because of the salary. It was always because managers were behaving like little Hitlers.
- Comment on FOUR whole parking spots 1 year ago:
I don’t think the police enforce traffic laws in parking lots
In France, the “traffic code” applies everywhere, even in parking lots where you have to drive on the right side, stop at the stop sign, and park where it’s allowed. I guess it’s equivalent in the USA or other countries.
- Comment on What's your favorite platform for buying shows and movies digitally? 1 year ago:
Sorry for the rant but I only buy music from Bandcamp because it’s DRM-free. I don’t want to rely on obscure proprietary programs to remove DRM, and also most of the shows I would buy are region-restricted which means that I cannot legally buy them.
But yes, since I’m an Apple user, I go to iTunes when I want to rent a movie (maybe twice a year).
- Comment on ‘Futurama’ Review: New Episodes on Hulu Are Fun Fan Service, but Not Much More (And That’s OK) 1 year ago:
I’m really annoyed at the sentence “And That’s OK” as if I can’t form my own opinion on a topic. Yes, I’m triggered but it’s a useless choice of words for a title.
