It’s an agonist for the opiate target receptors which is why I say opiate-like.

Kratum is an opiate-like plant-based drug that gives users a boost of energy, but is addictive like actual opiates.
- Comment on CNBC survey mocked after ranking all red states as top 10 'worst places to live' 3 months ago:
It’s a quality of life ranking, and Republican states have a low quality of life, by design.

A pox on your house for not knowing a beloved Bob’s Burgers character.

- Comment on Is Baldurs Gate 3's voice acting so great that it ruined other games for me? 1 year ago:
BG3 is a milestone in gaming. It may be a bit unfair to compare it to games that were produced at the same time, they couldn’t hope to compete lmao.

If it were only words I would never care to speak to another dipshit conservative again, but government policy is different and has very real effects on people and their agency to lead fulfilling lives.
- Comment on CNN Freaks Out Over Elon Musk Changing His Name On X To “Harry Bölz” 1 year ago:
So Elon Musk can change his name, Trump can try to rename geographic places, but trans people can’t? Conservative (lack of) principles really showing there.

- Comment on [Review] Nosferatu is the stuff of exquisitely erotic nightmares 1 year ago:
I thought it was a good movie that succeeded at what it was trying to do with the horror/drama/theatrics, but I don’t want to watch it again. It did drag a few times, especially at the beginning.
- Comment on Against the Storm looks charming and cosy, but it's actually the best and most fiendish city builder I've played in years 1 year ago:
I played it when it came out and it was great. I loved the campaign setup. I need to get back into it with that new DLC

So what’s controversial about it? This Sky News / Comcast rag mentions it’s “enormously” controversial without stating the controversies.
After reading about Tortoise media I’m kinda liking the slow news movement.
