If it were only words I would never care to speak to another dipshit conservative again, but government policy is different and has very real effects on people and their agency to lead fulfilling lives.
- Comment on CNN Freaks Out Over Elon Musk Changing His Name On X To “Harry Bölz” 1 week ago:
So Elon Musk can change his name, Trump can try to rename geographic places, but trans people can’t? Conservative (lack of) principles really showing there.

Give us your name and address so we can be informed. That’s not a bad thing.

- Comment on Any Roguelike/Roguelite suggestions? 5 weeks ago:
Highly recommended Roguelikes from personal experience or friend recommendations:
Binding of Isaac, FTL, Risk of Rain 2, Enter the Gungeon, Darkest Dungeon (my favorite)[not the second one], Monster Train, Crypt of the Necromancer (another favorite).
- Comment on [Review] Nosferatu is the stuff of exquisitely erotic nightmares 1 month ago:
I thought it was a good movie that succeeded at what it was trying to do with the horror/drama/theatrics, but I don’t want to watch it again. It did drag a few times, especially at the beginning.
- Comment on Against the Storm looks charming and cosy, but it's actually the best and most fiendish city builder I've played in years 1 month ago:
I played it when it came out and it was great. I loved the campaign setup. I need to get back into it with that new DLC

I lived in the UK for a year, but no longer.
- Comment on Guardian signs controversial deal to sell The Observer to Tortoise Media 2 months ago:
So what’s controversial about it? This Sky News / Comcast rag mentions it’s “enormously” controversial without stating the controversies.
After reading about Tortoise media I’m kinda liking the slow news movement.

Alternatively you’re asking physiology questions and the first paper that pops up is written by a 90s phrenologist whose Wikipedia page states they’re a well known white supremacist.
Got two sentences into the abstract before stating “hol up”.

I played it in alpha (?) when it first came out and it was alright. I played it for like 3 hours, but never felt a desire to revisit it.

The use of “feminist propaganda” over “misogyny” seems very deliberate.

Age of Wonders 4 has been entertaining me alongside TWW3 recently. It’s a 4X turn based strategy game with dark fantasy elements from Triumph Studios and published by Paradox.
It has some pretty good customization elements and I’ve been enjoying playing the different types of empire combos. There’s also an Lovecraftian eldritch horror DLC coming out this month.

- Comment on Sword-wielding man attacks passersby in London, killing a 14-year-old boy and injuring 4 others 9 months ago:
In the US people like that use guns, because they’re so easily accessible. Elsewhere people use other weapons, notably a sword in this case. Banning the weapon is unlikely to stop the next rando attack.
Opportunities like subsidized state mental health services and meeting someone’s basic human needs goes a long way in stopping someone from despairing so much that they attack randos on the street.
Tories are groß capitalists who don’t care to have those needs met for anyone but themselves
- Comment on Sword-wielding man attacks passersby in London, killing a 14-year-old boy and injuring 4 others 9 months ago:
“Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said the incident was “shocking,” adding: “Such violence has no place on our streets.“
A truly worthless statement from someone with actual power to make changes that would make people less inclined to commit public attacks. I’m presuming this guy lashed out from despair because of his surroundings, possibly economic pressures that Sunak and the Tory ghouls continue to make worse for everyone.
