I tried playing games so much more demanding than my hardware that I had 3 SPF… Not 3 FPS (frames per second) buy 3 SPF (3 seconds per frame… Took 3 for one frame to render) the game was unplayable but PC was okay.

Maybe… The answer why is on the screen: there is no special character in the password…
Just add an exclamation mark at the end, like a normal person

I love the concept of “Legitimate interest”… Like, why the hell anyone even consider storing my data in ILLEGITIMATE interest?

I miss the good old days when people were worried because some long dead calendar maker, didn’t bother to prepare the calendar a few hundred years in advance.

In science there is an answer “you are not even wrong” which is a polite way of saying that wat you said makes so little sense, that it cannot even be disproven.
- Comment on After 9/11 America was afraid of a Improvised Nuclear Something made out of used uranium. How would that work? Just get a piece of dynamite and some nuke dust and light the dynamite? 5 weeks ago:
Basically dynamite will blow up and spread radioactive dust so one explosion can do additional damage

Also the assumption that people would “stick with the Bible” ignores the “dozens” of people in the world who are not Christians… They might be a bit upset about that.

it turns out “nostupidquestion” for some people means “do not post stupid questions” instead of “there are no stupid questions”.
I up voted, because I still believe the second meaning is correct and people shouldn’t worry about posting questions here.
But I have to admit, I see absolutely no relation between the “if” part and the “would you” part of this question, which makes it really weird for me.

Her radio wasn’t off-the-shelf hardware. But I bet that her plane wasn’t either. What she tried to do required much more effort and knowledge than just operating off-the-shelf tools.
What I am trying to say is that she wasn’t stupid, she was just not prepared enough for the task.

Oh, that’s a great idea… On the other hand, I’m not sure if World War: Alyx would be much better.

Could we please pass on the third installment of that World War franchise?
I understand it was a global hit, but it was too loud for my taste.

- Comment on Plastic hinges on modern headphones 2 months ago:
My Bose headphones didn’t break, but they looked awful after two years of usage, like garbage. So I decided to buy a Sony… Sony broke after one year after they fell off the bed (cheap headphones would survive this without a scratch, but those were expensive)

I’m from Poland and didn’t think about it until I found that in the first part of The Witcher games, the game that is directed to adults, they had to develop a special versions for the USA. The version included full violence with decapitations and gore, but showing a woman’s nipple was too far so they had to censor it.
- Comment on We'll probably never see a Grand Theft Auto set in a futuristic city like GTA 2 because the team "hated it": "People didn’t connect with the game or its city" 4 months ago:
I agree it was a success, but do you remember its launch? Big studios only copy formulas that guarantee win, and in this case even CD Projekt, studio beloved by gamers, initially struggled to turn it into success (And yes, I know I might be too cynical here, Rockstar still seems to be more focused on making good games than most big studios nowadays)
- Comment on We'll probably never see a Grand Theft Auto set in a futuristic city like GTA 2 because the team "hated it": "People didn’t connect with the game or its city" 4 months ago:
And that’s the real reason why they won’t make GTA in the future soon. That part of the market is already taken by CD Projekt, and Cyberpunk 2077 was not a clear success, so other CEOs won’t force their teams to fight for that market. Too much trouble, too much risk.
Copy what already worked, add a minimum innovation and maximum microtransactions and repeat until money stops flowing.
- Comment on Why do big people wear the tiniest shit especially at rallys or riots? Like on Jan 6 I saw a bunch of big stupid people have on bullet proof vest that was only maybe 6inch by 6inch or tinier? 5 months ago:
Question to people downvoting this. I thought the community is called “no stupid question” to encourage questions that people would otherwise hesitate to ask. Downvoting them sends mixed signals, doesn’t it?

- Comment on My password is not accepted because it is too long 1 year ago:
I heard some banks encrypt single characters of the password separately (no idea how that would be safe) they often ask to provide random characters from the password instead of the entire password.
My bank only accepts up to 20 characters. It doesn’t validate it… The login page simply ignores all characters beyond 20th. So I didn’t even know that it cut my password until I tried to log into the mobile app, which replaces the last character when you type more than 20… that was confusing 20 minutes when I didn’t know why I can’t log into my mobile app.
