- Comment on Is a web browser using another scripting language feasible? 6 days ago:
Your browser wouldn’t be able to load any js based sites
You could make a browser capable of loading both, and I think it already happened. The problem is, that a browser supporting more languages than necessary, was never successful enough to get mass adoption and on the internet you need mass adoption to survive.

It’s neat how adding Nicolas Cage face, increased resolution of the entire picture!
- Comment on Are datacenters in space more lucrative than on earth? 2 weeks ago:
Even the “energy generation benefit” is dubious. The solar panels in space might be more efficient, but if you consider the cost of transportation, installation and maintenance… It won’t add up. You could just build more panels on earth and get similar results (still much cheaper). It’s not like we are running low on space on earth.

Looks like the technology of color photography got lost in the meantime. I’ve seen photos from 1850 that look much more colourful than this.

I am baffled how “Love your neighbor” has the small print below that says “as long as they are exactly like you, otherwise stone them to death”.
- Comment on Weapons for defense only 4 weeks ago:
“Defence only” gives an attacking side 100% initiative and control over what’s going on. They can focus on one place, attack when you are the weakest, take control of that one place (city, village or even a building) and even if it costs them a lot, you have no way to punish it. They can take their time to recover and wait and attack again whenever they want.

When mobsters visit a local business they also collect payment for protection.

They know. They just don’t care. North Korea might be a poor shithole but Kim is an Emperor for life, and can do whatever he wants. I would guess that’s what Donny aims for.

- Comment on Why are some Linux community so toxic? 1 month ago:
Back, in good ol’ days (5 years ago, or so), if you were a software developer you could ask any question on Stackoverflow, by any, I mean any question worthy of time of other users. If your question was considered too easy you would meet multiple beginner unfriendly answers. The portal is probably dead right now, I didn’t bother checking. It was killed by the AI since it will answer any of your simple questions and praise it instead of telling you that you should read the manual. AI is often wrong, but it helps a lot with the issues that most Linux geeks would consider unworthy of their time.

They are doing it poorly, most “ugly” people in movies are just super-models with thick glasses and bad haircuts.
- Comment on Is it safe to use a non-gaming computer for light gaming? 2 months ago:
I tried playing games so much more demanding than my hardware that I had 3 SPF… Not 3 FPS (frames per second) buy 3 SPF (3 seconds per frame… Took 3 for one frame to render) the game was unplayable but PC was okay.

In science there is an answer “you are not even wrong” which is a polite way of saying that wat you said makes so little sense, that it cannot even be disproven.

Basically dynamite will blow up and spread radioactive dust so one explosion can do additional damage
