Let me guess, it turned out that the zombies didn’t have any knifes.
- Comment on Where to start? 1 week ago:
TNG from the start, but Iimit yourself to the 4 or 5 best rated episodes from Season 1 and 2. Then crack on with most of 3 and 4. 5 onwards starts to have a few more clunkers but by then you should have a good idea if you like it enough to take a chance.

Well, I have kids. So that 8 hour game will last me a month. Combine that with a 20 year backlog…
- Comment on 'It Has Plateaued': Should We Be Worried About Console Gaming's Future? 4 weeks ago:
Lol. 90 hours games. Fuck that shit. I’ve never been on board with that nonsense. Give me a decent 8 hour game and stop destroying the lives of your employees with never ending crunch.

I think it’s just the two Mana games that are going to be on Game Pass.

- Comment on Liz Truss: Oppressed by Tweets, Victimized by Reality 3 months ago:
Things that Liz Truss thinks are equivalent:
“Far left” activists unveiling poster of a googlyeye lettuce.
Far right activities burning down hotels housing refuges; loot bakeries for sausage rolls.
- Comment on Liz Truss loses seat as ex-prime minister becomes biggest scalp in Tory bloodbath 4 months ago:
The fact that she blamed the Tory defeat on things like not scrapping the human rights act is spectacularly ignorant. What a useless politician she truly was. Fuckity bye.
- Comment on Sony won't phase out Blu-ray movie and game discs, only ceasing production on consumer BD-R 4 months ago:
It’s been a long time since I burned Blu ray discs, but the sheer number of coasters I got to verified discs was awful. This was with Sony discs and Sony and Panasonic drives. Maybe it got better but I gave up, to be honest.

I’m shocked, shocked that outsourcing public sector contracts to the lowest bidder results in this scenario.

Personally I wish they just made a bunch more Steamworld Digs. They could keep churning those out and I would lap them up.
- Comment on The Most Streamed Movies in 2022 1 year ago:
I’ve heard of three of these movies…
Thankfully (?) my kids exclusively watch Ninjago, Captain Underpants and Nailed It.
I do remember a time when our eldest was 3 or 4 and he would watch the same movie on repeat over and over. The months he was obsessed with Robots and Planes Fire and Rescue were dark indeed.

The ever reducing diameter of wraps is the thing that gets me the most. Do they think we won’t notice?! It’s maddening. I want a big wrap.

I’ve never been into a Primark, but this looks very much like TK Maxx (which is what TJ Maxx is called here in the UK).

If you’re not paying you are the product. If you ARE paying you are STILL the product. This is how big tech works.

Pike and Spock are uncanny… Nurse Chapel, La’an and Numero Uno are uncanny valley.
- Comment on Enterprise is too gross 1 year ago:
My issue with ENT is the treatment of female characters. It’s not just T’Pol, but she definitely comes off worse. It’s all pretty cringy watching it with 2023 eyes. That crap with the Doctor guilting T’Pol into sexy time Vulcan therapy with Trip, for example. Urgh. Very much of the “FHM” era. That, and most (all?) the characters are unlikable. I’ve tried many times to watch it since the time but struggling with more that 1 or 2 episodes.
