Strange that they think this isn’t a negative PR hit, then.
- Comment on Why are there people like this?! 1 year ago:
Because as a society we’ve forgotten how to throw bricks at bad people

Of course you understand some dog barks, you just don’t think about it because humans process language innately, we have specialized brain structures for it.
I’ll bet you can recognize “I see a threat” and 'I’m in pain" when you hear them. Maybe even distinguish them from “happy excitement”

Oh jesus christ. Powerful men do not need weird nerds jumping in front of their bullets. The guy is a fucking shitshow.

Stopped reading at the uncritical use of the word “transgenderism” and the unanalyzed repetition of the falsehood that Budweiser suffered financially from the Dylan Mulvaney thing (it didn’t).
Not sure what fence the author is trying to sit on, but I’ll take my opinion fluff pieces from people who aren’t actively aiding the conservative culture war.

Demographics? That has nothing to do with it. They are different genres, but lots of people like multiple genres. Me, for example. I want to see both. Since I can only sit in one theater at a time, that means they are competing.
- Comment on SAG-AFTRA Will Allow Some Truly Independent Producers To Film During Strike If They Sign “Interim Agreements” 1 year ago:
This is clever strategy. AMPTP wants the strike to drag on. They’ve said they’re going to continue until people start losing their homes. Now, whether this is bluster or not, they’re going to be in a really hard place if the only people making entertainment are independents, who are suddenly going to become the power brokers. And they’ll stay that way, too. If some indie studio manages to make a hit when nobody else could make a soda commercial, they’ll be revered even after the strike ends. AMPTP doesn’t want that, so this puts pressure on them to cave.
