Everyone forgets Goddard. He invented what the German scientists perfected after a lot of government investments. The US didn’t want to go that way with Rocketry, until the world saw the Germans make it work.
The US set Goddard to work on Jet assisted take off in WWII.
- Comment on President Trump reacts to President Biden’s cancer diagnosis: "I don't feel sorry for him" 1 week ago:
And Kirk died for what he believed in. Gun rights. Biden prided himself in funding cancer research.
- Comment on Housing prices 1 week ago:
Allowing the Fed to artificially keep interest rates down for 15 years is not “Capitalism sucks”. Its pure, unadulterated asset inflation purposely done.
- Comment on Housing prices 1 week ago:
3% mortgages did tghs. If mortgages were kept around historical averages of 7 percent the asset inflation wouldn’t have occurred. The monthly costs at 7 percent currently are unaffordable except for the top 20%.
- Comment on Going Back ↪️🏨 1 week ago:
This is the Fed’s fault.
There should have never been less than 3 0ercent mortgages. They basically gave away free home equity to an entire generation. And you know what they did? Bought 2nd homes and allowed VRBO/AirB&B to thrive. Now with “normal” interest rates, none of this makes any sense.
- Comment on Why is AOC a big deal? She just speaks common sense and calls out absurdity. Have we really gone that far off the rails where we don't do it ourselves? 3 weeks ago:
This country will never, ever vote a woman in as President. The “What I see as a leader” (sexism) runs too deep.
- Comment on US Energy Secretary Chris Wright: “I'm thrilled to report that after 35 years, on July 4th, we will end the subsidies for wind and solar projects” 1 month ago:
<Then maybe people will finally start questioning all the fossil fuel subsidies>
Oh this made me laugh this morning, thank you.
