Tl;dr aside from an uptick right after (which can be attributed to the country no longer being a police state) both child abuse and rape dropped, while other violent crime has not.

Crocodiles and dinosaurs (and birds) do share a common ancestor, but that ancestor was neither crocodile, nor a dinosaur.

Especially since Bethesda’s Fallouts suck because of the thing that makes TES great - what they do is power fantasy. That’s great for Nirn, since you almost always turn out to be some sort of demigod anyway. But a post-apocalyptic RPG? You’re meant to be scraping by in dirt. Sure, let the player become a wasteland badass, but not godlike. That sucks.

Rockets need to go fast parallel to Earth surface rather than just high, though atmosphere slows you down, so you start by going up to get where atmosphere is less dense faster and angle yourself steadily to gain orbital speed.

GTA 4 went for a lot more realistic vibe, it’s very gray and a lot less arcadey. GTA 5 is a lot more colourful, both in visuals and gameplay. They even brought back fill frenzies/rampages, in an interesting story-friendly way (most of them are a character’s psychotic breaks, some are a drug trip).
