Yes do it!! In case you didnt know, if you have an S or other angled 360 the HDD is pretty regular to get to, but if you have the Arcade or Elite (detachable top storage) it’s super easy to unscrew it, remove the converter plug and then you can use a SATA to USB cable for easy transfer (or plug it in internally ofc for faster speeds)

I managed to find a pack for Java (despised Bedrock since launch) that has many Xbox Title Edition tutorial worlds, it’s so great. Also, the digital editions were updated a bunch, so the best way to get the authentic console experience is to buy an early release disc copy, that is the only way to reliably preserve the first several versions.

Primark has the receipt scan thing as well now, except it’s to open the exit gate. A lot of cross-referencing, finding studies/articles and historical archives of both for the time period (conveniently one from 1955 was available) regarding 2 bedroom house prices on average across the Kingdom, and the government’s data on minimum wages. I divided the house cost by the wage per hour for each period, and got the hours necessary to earn that much. I then made a very rough assumption of the ability to save 40% of the total earned and arrived at a more realistic timeframe to buy a house outright.
Once I had the monetary value of each thing I put them into the RBS Inflation Calculator to see their value today. Minimum wages in 1955 were equal to ~£25, but 2 bed house prices were nearly half the price they are now, so for the wages to match the housing market also they need to be ~£48. (I performed this study in 2018 but before an event involving the loss of most of my digital data. I should remake the study so you guys don’t rely on my memory alone)

I’m so glad I use AMD now. I know DLSS is optional and they lead in raytracing efficiency, but supporting Nvidia’s choices by buying their product is just not worth it.

That’s hella weird. 720p only upscales nicely on multiples, so 1440p or 2880p, but last I checked only about 15% of Steam users have QHD monitors. They should’ve gone 960*540 at the very least.
Of course, they shouldn’t half-ass their quality regardless. Frame gen is fine I guess, but not rendering at full res and using AI to distort the original is a huge issue.
