sounds like the required benefits are limiting peoples income and companies are just finding way around it. I still don’t know why Americans think medical should be tied to employment. Why not remove these required benefits from the employer and find another solution.

But where would the money come from to pay the taxes on that wealth?

I don’t disagree with that part. Wealth has power.
- Comment on This isn't fair 2 weeks ago:
When is you how direct, it costs 100k to how an employee you pay 66k/hr.
You need to pay half of the social security, half of the unemployment, and in California, its 18k/yr for medical, (36k if he has a family), payroll tax, and that is if you provide zero retirement benefits.

The 3 billionaires are worth that much. They aren’t hoarding cash. They own their respective companies.
Do y’all actually think they have trillion in cash sitting in a bank somewhere?

Have you tried ordering an hour of labor from any company? Those have gone up as well.
Have you tried paying an employee an hour of labor as a company? Paying an hour of labor has also gone up significantly.

- Comment on just temporarily embarrassed billionaires, one good idea or lottery ticket from making it rich 3 weeks ago:
So basically lower the stock returns by devaluing the gains and giving Black Rock all our stocks. The only thing i see happening with that is it’s people are not going to be able to retire and they will need to work more because the returns in the market will vaporize their chance to retire.
When the rich move to inventing in hard assets instead of the market, housing will go up as investors buy up the market. Meaning taxing the unraised gains will cause more people to be priced out of housing as well.
- Comment on just temporarily embarrassed billionaires, one good idea or lottery ticket from making it rich 3 weeks ago:
So every billionaire is going to selling stocks. You do realize the owners is these stocks are going to either be china or Black Rock if that happens. They are the only ones that would be able to afford to buy them. It would be a massive transfer of weath to big corporations or even worse a foreign country.

Plus it didn’t explain were the money comes from. Bazos makes 80k a year, and his stocks go up in value which is why good net worth goes up. If we taxes his unrealized gains where the money come from?

This is 2026 and we are still promoting this myth
- Comment on International 4 weeks ago:
I can agree to that. The problem doing it today would be how to extract cash from the wealth of today’s billionaires. We could take out Elon and get morning on return because all his wealth is just ownership of companies that are all hype and no real profits. Someone like bezos would work because he does have a ton of assets ee could sell to China, but even then we wouldn’t be able to do much with it.
The trade off would be the loss of millions of retirement accounts when the stocks collapse, and the debt machine gets unwound.

- Comment on Housing prices 4 weeks ago:
A few things broke.
1 inflation definition and actually inflation are two different things. Real inflation is m2 money supply.
2 us debt and money devaluing makes assets raise in price.
3 is permitting costs. The first to build a house has gone up a ton.
4 supply. Permitting restrictions and requirements make building small houses not viable for most. Tiny homes today are pretty close to the price of a house 2 or 3 times the size for only 20-30% more money.
5 low interest rates for too long. Low interest rates cause prices of assets to rise incredibly fast.
Loan term requirements becoming relaxed. 30-45 yr loans are the norm now because consumers are willing to take on life long debt terms. In a limited supply situation you are competing with people willing to pay more with longer terms.
6 speculation. This is mostly from the low interest rate environments. People buy assets to beat the interest rates. Companies buying houses for profit from flipping or renting also contribute.
The only way we get adorable housing is 10% interest rates, abolishing the 30-45 yr loans, and remove permitting costs and restrictions.

Because doctors that switched from low salt high carb diets for patients with high blood pressure have almost none of them reverse their condition and they stay on meds their while life. The ones they switched to low carb high salt diets for if meds in 3 months.
The same thing is happening to diabetes. The doctor getting people off the old diabetic diet plans are reversing the disease.
All is this has been happening for the last 5 years. We won’t see results on the future, it’s happening now.
Weight loss doctors have also failed to produce and results in weight loss management for the last 40 years (97% failure rate, including surgery) until recently. It’s because everyone we know about food was wrong for the last few decades. Shit we even replaced butter with margarine and beef fat with crisco and wondered why heart disease increased. We now have the data that shows these alternative fats are killing people.
New immerging data is also showing high ldl isn’t caused by high cholesterol diets, it’s caused by damage to the body from sugar. The ldl is the body trying to repair the damage.
Dementia was always thought of as a brain disorder. Now it’s starting to be called diabetes type 3 because studies are finding insulin resistance is causing the brain condition, and this rise is from the food pyramid and telling people to eat 3 times a day with small snacks. It prevents the brain from repairing itself.
