“You’re just a tiny minority, most people like the change”
They did the same shit with their redesign with their idiotic floating tabs. They look ugly and they even take up way more space, while displaying less information, for literally no reason. They argued the need this change for future FF features, which yet, several years later, have yet to appear. Here's a quote from "Paul", one of their moderators - almost 3 years ago:
Hi,
We bring a modernized and differentiated look to tabs since Firefox 89 in order to create a signature Firefox look and experience. This major redesign will help us enable more use cases and features in the future.

I love Firefox and will continue to use it, but its decline is a mixture of Google's aggressive embrace, extend, and extinguish approach and straight up continued mismanagement of the Mozilla Corporation.

I'm surprised how many people use bleach / bleach based products. You really don't need such aggressive stuff the majority of times. Regular cleaners work just fine. Or is that an US thing where bleach is in every cleaning product or something?

If you mean low poly & texture sized 3D games, then I would say BallisticNG, which is directly inspired by Wipeout from the original PSX. Also, while not quite the same, Valheim has a similar pixelated texture style with low poly models (for today's standards at least).

I do it with obvious lurker / alt accounts that are otherwise not active and apparently just exist to downvote other people. Legit accounts and especially those who could actually provide some valid counterpoints aren't receiving this treatment. This also includes a block, so consider this message a friendly courtesy of mine, but also the last thing you'll hear from me, as I have better things to do than argue with internet trolls. Have a nice vote manipulative day.

Or simply the terrible the state it was in. Took them to 1.6 to finally fix the stupid framerate degradation, at least partially. And things like the story will obviously never be fixed.
- Comment on Light No Fire Announcement Trailer 11 months ago:
Step 1: Release a shit game early that's nothing like its trailer and produce a shit ton of publicity through its consequential shit storm.
Step 2: Spent development time on it that you had originally planned for it anyway to fix things up a little bit, without ever reaching the state of the original trailer and get all the praise for being a shitty company because you've apparently done some magical redemption arc.
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit - and then do it all over again because people are gullible idiots. You can apply the same shit to CP2077 and other games btw. At this point it is beneficial to just release a game in a shitty state because now you have the opportunity to use it as some PR mechanism of how great you are as a company for still caring for your games even after a shitty launch.

Works. Not sure how it works over the element picker tool though, which completely failed to get rid of it.

- Comment on how do you even use twitter? 1 year ago:
Platforms like this are mostly sort of for self centered people, or those willing to follow self centered people. It's why I couldn't get into Twitter back in the day either. I just don't have anything to say about my life, and I'm not interested in the life of others. And for things like news aggregation or specific topics there's just other platforms that fit better for that task, like our infamous Reddit or its fediverse alternatives like Kbin & Lemmy.

Welcome to the CC simps, because you're certainly not the only one who does that. It's generally a no brainer considering that they also still offer a demo to just try it out. Of course that doesn't tell you much about the great story and characters, but I think the fluidity of the movement and combat system definitely can convince people over already.

AI? Looks rather like low tier CGI instead. Most "crowds" are CGI, have been for many years. They're just usually made in a higher quality to hide it better.

So for example, the Private Internet Access VPN app has a play store version without the ad and tracker blocking functionality, because that goes against the Play Store TOS. But you can get the full version with the ad blockers as an APK from the official website.
What?
I have the play store version of Mullvad and it has ad & tracking blocker functionality. - Comment on Last Of Us Studio Naughty Dog Is Cutting Developers 1 year ago:
Reminds me of this video I watched yesterday when looking for CC content.
We basically have what OP describes already in form of indie studios & games. Mind you, not all of them are the same of course, but many are very much that. But that doesn't really matter, because a game can be so good and created with so much love over so many years, and it can still commercially flop for a huge variety of reasons.CrossCode is one of those examples. It's an absolutely stunning game, it was a complete surprise hit for me which made me instantly buy into their early access at the time after trying the demo but as good as the game is, and even the ratings for it are, no one actually knows about it - and even less people are actually willing to try it. You have no idea how many times I tried to pitch this to for example Let's Players who enjoyed other character & story driven games, but for them it's a similar situation. They won't pick games that are some sort of underdog, because that would not get them views. But games like this desperately need the exposure to even be seen by people. And people who hear about games like this also need to give them an actual chance. But for the vast majority, if the game isn't coming from a big publisher or studio, they won't even care.
Overall the gaming industry is tremendously fucked. A lot of people predict some sort of implosion happening at some point but I kinda doubt that happens, even though it might be necessary, especially if it takes down some of the giants like EA & Ubisoft, distributing all those developers and licenses into the wild. I believe in the long run it would be better for the industry.
