When I was little, I had an aready beaten (not completed) copy of MM. Amoung the other games I played, I would start it up and just sorta explore the world and get to know the characters. And even fight the bosses when I eventually figured out how to open the temples. I even discovered a few unfound masks and got the gilded sword. And some times I would just roleplay that I lived in this little world.
Many years later, with the help of a couple of let’s players, I finally beat the game myself from start to finish.
It it one of the few games I’ll go back and replay every decade or so, and it has always held a special place in my heart.
I have had hope for another game like, but I have yet to find anything that cpmes close.
- Comment on User destroys local habitat so they can walk barefoot beside "their" lake 2 weeks ago:
It is aesthetics vs ecology.
An “overgrown shoreline” protects the water body like lakes and ponds from too much nutrients running into it. As well as helps protect against soil erosion.
I can see that they mainly just cleared out the area, and didn’t simply build the shoreline there. But I would disagree with decision that was made here.
And if it really is peatland, then a lot of damage has already been done to the local ecosystem.

It was already sorta mentioned once, but worth doing again.
This isn’t a colony. These aren’t honey bees or bumblebees, these bees are wild and native and live fairly independently of each other.

I don’t know about objectivity being the best. I do remember a video where the dropped that generation off a stairs and was only one that worked, although the lid had to be held down. Also I remember hearing it was both the most powerful of its gen and wasn’t sold at a loss.
It was definitely my favorite console. Got into the wii but overtime I grew out of concals and moved onto doing all my gaming on pc.
