Actually yeah, and aside from being co-founder of Ubisoft with his brothers I couldn’t find much. He ran some other audio company. Literally nothing that justifies people talking about shitting on his grave.

And where were you to punch up when he was alive? Ah right, on the internet being a keyboard warrior.
You’re making an awful lot of claims about somebody you don’t have any actual information on or had even heard of before they died based on what, perceived net worth? General dislike of large companies? Or maybe you’re projecting.
I’m not here to mourn this guy or defend him, if you remember how this conversation started I was looking for a reason to piss on his grave right beside you, but I can’t find one. Dude was nearly 70, had nothing to do with the day-to-day at Ubi for who knows how long, living his life until he wasn’t. No scandal, no donating to MAGA, no Epstein association, no union-busting. Just a higher than average net worth though I don’t think he was in the 1%.

So what’s the cutoff for you then? If a person has more than $10 million does their life no longer matter? $5 million? What exact net-worth cutoff indicates they’re a cretin who is hellbent on enslaving the working class?
We live in a capitalist society. Even here in Canada where I have access to more socialized services, it’s still a capitalist society. People are going to make money - sometimes it’s borne of privilege, other times hard work, and sometimes the amount is egregious, but in my eyes the hard cutoff is whether or not they are a billionaire and/or use that money to influence policy.
Being wealthy at the age of 70 after spending literal decades growing one of the largest video game companies is not a crime and does not by default make this guy an awful person - AND - the amount paid to execs in many cases is disproportionate and would be better spent uplifting those who do the actual work.
I can believe both of those things simultaneously while not punching down at a dead guy who was not a billionaire. Why can’t you?

We’re talking about a fuckong video game company.
Touch grass.

You need therapy.
I think you and I would agree that billionaires aren’t people, and I long for the day in which we dismember them and feed them to the pigs, but this guy wasn’t a billionaire. He was a successful video game developer who co-founded an awful company.
I’m not saying he was a saint, I don’t mourn his passing, but I’m also not celebrating his death as his crimes pale in comparison to the ruling class.

Awful as in he was responsible for day one DLC and microtransactions or awful as in he raped and murdered children?
There’s a spectrum and I’m not sure which end of it he’s on based on your comments.

Political violence is acceptable.
When the actions of a dictator or party directly worsen the lives of citizens, I believe it should be a legal right for the citizenry to execute those in power.

I still don’t even know what a wojack means but I’ve been too-online since the internet screached itself through the void into your home.

My MOBO and CPU can no issue, but I’ve got one 1440p and would like to upgrade my other monitor to the same reaolution but I feel that my 3070 is holding me back. I should have done a bit more research, got a TI or something, maybe.
I’m not dissatisfied, my setup does what it needs to, but I feel that for just a few dollars more (a lot more dollars now) I could have bypassed this inconvenience.

This had me searching “PS5 extra ram kit” like a buffoon.
But actually, same boat. Launch PS5, bought ram and a 2TB SSD early 2025. I shouldn’t have held back on that new GPU though.
This kind of luck must run in my family, my brother and his partner both traded in their cars for EVs two days before the Epstein War started. Little shit is laughing at me when I text him the cost to fill up.

I’ve been thinking about that a lot this week. I played ACS at launch, got ten hours in before I got bored and cancelled whatever the subscription is. Came back last month, got ten hours deeper and uninstalled.
How are they making ninjas boring? HOW?!
