Welp, and some people hypothesized Nothing would be the secret manufacturer that GrapheneOS works with. Hope not, I’m not sure what Nothing would get out of it with these kinds od actions.

I feel sad that the Captain is used to stand for the morally wrong side in this joke. Especially from this scene, I faintly recall it was about not doing enough to save or help some people.
- Comment on How do people get rid of or sell stolen jewelry? I ask cause the news says the the Louve thieves can never sell it because it so known? 1 week ago:
But that is exactly the point of stealing it and keeping it private. You choose who gets to see it and no one can enjoy it but you at any time you want.
Granted, it is idiotic, not arguing around that.

- Comment on Mary E. Brunkow, one of this year's Nobel Prize winners in Medicine, has only 34 published papers and an H-index of 21. 3 weeks ago:
Sure, not a bad view and I don’t know much about Brunkow and how she works, to be clear… but: you do need all these things in order to get academic funding so you can work on your ideas. Which I am not saying is a great system, it isn’t, but I don’t think it is easy to say these days to academic reseachers, especially early career ones, to not care too much about publications.

Yeah it is nice it can support it, that does however not mean they actually do. There’s so many articles and videos out there around the topic of badlx made usb c cables, this is a real issue.
E.g. here since you are probably going to ask for a source pcworld.com/…/buying-a-usb-c-cable-watch-out-for-…

Yes, there is no connection between Tylenol and autism.
No, saying autism existed before Tylenol, so it cannot have caused it, is just plain silly. If someone wants to derail that argument they might just pull up autism diagnosis statistics that probably went up after Tylenol came into the market. Which we all know is not connected, but once we get to that point in the discussion you’ve lost people with your point.
- Comment on it's just science, i guess 5 weeks ago:
I mean, it probably doesn’t but that explanation, “autism existed way before tylenol soit cannot cause it” is quite weak.
