Steam and PC gaming if anything. That and changing life priorities in my 30s and 40s. GoG and epic too. Between them I have almost 1000 games I didn’t pay for. Combined with hundreds on steam from humble etc. I probably spend more time trying to decide what to play than playing it.

And how is not voting for them going to do that? They’re fine with you not voting for them, and even losing in the case of DNC leadership. Always have been.
You want to put pressure on them? Be the candidate to primary the party line candidate in Democratic primaries. Yes they will use every structural advantage they have against you. But if enough people do it constantly. The cracks will widen and show. Otherwise they’re happy to receive donations and funding from the wealthy, even if they don’t win.
To be clear, I think all national parties should be outlawed. Generally state wide ones as well. But unless you can change the political reality we are in. The only possibility is not just holding off the worst possible candidates such as trump. Though more should have shown solidarity against him. But being the candidates we want to vote for. And not letting some uninterested complacent national organization make those decision for us.

Nope. Sadly among all the other things checkering Louis Rosman’s past now, kiwifarms is supposedly part of it.

I haven’t talked to jay since before 2015. But sadly he was rabidly Republican. To the point I doubt it’s changed. I still see him log in to SL sometimes. But never had the morbid curiosity to ask.

I'll say this much. As anarchist, we are often not very good gatekeepers. For better and for worse. As such, I've noticed that quite a few posting from DB0 aren't anarchists recently. Not a great number. But there have been occasions where I've seen posters defending large power structures from the domain. Ones specifically that could give a tanky impression. Make of it what you will. I can see how users that had interacted with those type could think that. I've also seen similar absurd characterizations of other domains.

- Comment on The problem with common names 3 months ago:
Oh that's not even that isolated in Australia. There's a fish caught off their shores that had a whole big marketing push in the 90s and 00s to rebranded it from its common name. Slimehead. Thankfully I think they abandoned commercial marketing of it. They would have fished it out in record time. Seeing as the fish can take north of a decade to mature and reach spawning age.
- Comment on One Of The Best Games Ever Turns 25, And You Still Can't Buy It 3 months ago:
That can definitely be said about a lot of classics from that era. Things have changed a lot since then for better and for worse. It's an absolutely unique experience, though. I would love to see a more modern take on it if it were possible.
- Comment on One Of The Best Games Ever Turns 25, And You Still Can't Buy It 3 months ago:
Everything is of course subjective. But it was a unique concept and execution. With solid gameplay and decent graphics in an era known for originating the boomer shooter and all its clones.
If you crave run and gun, probably not. But if you enjoy the kitschy, retro James Bond, Secret Agent aesthetic. And very early, but decent female protagonist. It's a lot of fun.

I don't think I've ever up voted a comment of yours. But you are 100% on point about Lysenko. His promotion and the treatment of Vavilov are emblematic of a few of the many many flaws of Leninism. Vavilov was at least posthumously exonerated.Though he still died in a Siberian gulag for the crime of disagreeing with comrade Stalin, and sticking to the evidence.
- Comment on Hrmmmmm 3 months ago:
Also Stalin's promotion of Trofim Lysenko and his crackpot ideas on agriculture that mirrored the crackpot ideas of Leninism. Exacerbating famines and helping to kill millions.
- Comment on How come NK doesn't just come out and say we are in trouble and need help? Like their lack of food and stuff? I really don't see a downside for a country admit they were wrong and need help 4 months ago:
Out of sight out of mind. It's why authoritarian governments police speech and media. If you control what they see and hear. Then the worst that could happen is they might just feel that something is off. But have no evidence to necessarily back that up. Basically an echo chamber of the size of the nation.

Yes, I started in Vanilla/BC. Wow isn't for everyone. But right now, between the deluge of content it's built up historically and currently. The current system respects player time and desire much more than any in the past. If you want to just do Battlegrounds and PvP while gearing, you can do that. If you want to do world content while gearing, that's becoming more and more viable as well. Plus you can always do the old path of raiding. And in this next expansion, PvE play and gearing is going to get even better.

You're here admonishing people for being glad he's gone.
Let's be clear. In a just society people shouldn't suffer genocide or slaughter for who they are. In a just society people shouldn't be slaughtered for their speech. We don't live in a just society. In case you weren't aware.
Charlie celebrated all of this. And all your screeching of death cult to anyone expressing their happiness at the passing of such a disease on society. Is uncalled for and hypocritical, seeing as Charlie Kirk himself was a spokesman for a death cult.
Don't get me wrong. I don't think his murder has made anything better. But until such time as society as a whole stops and refuses to elevate people like him. To give people like him a platform. I'm not going to admonish those who took the only action left to them in the face of an intolerant society. Or those that celebrate it.
Charlie Kirk stands to do more good in death than he would have ever been capable of in life. But only if we don't play their games. Calling out the people who rightfully celebrate the fact that Kirk suffered the fate he advocated for others to experience. any good person should celebrate that Kirk fell on his own sword. The question is why aren't you?
- Comment on Charlie Kirk in his own words. 5 months ago:
He was literally the leader of the new Hitler Juggen. Not every Nazi killed people. They just accepted it and cheered it on. The Nazis didn't start out slaughtering everyone they put into camps. It was their final solution. and only after massive incompetence on every other front.
If you are Jewish and you do not understand modern Republicans and the Trump administration in particular for what they are. You must be quite the cultural disappointment. That you have no problem defending Trump or his enablers. But don't agree with Bibi Netanyahu. Is some really fucked up cognitive dissonance that you need to address in yourself.
- Comment on Charlie Kirk in his own words. 5 months ago:
Thank you for posting this. I had family that was confused about my repulsion and disgust concerning Kirk. Only encountering him in the limited capacity that he would be talked about in church. Digging on the web or YouTube even just returns a deluge white washing of his character. Even knowing the clips to look for, it was hard to find actual examples of them. Due to all the flood of bullshit coverage. Saved and Shown.

There's no use in reading theory when you refuse to think critically about it. Plus no where in Marx's theory does it call for or justify brutal dictatorial authoritarian regimes. The dictatorship of the proletariat was a philosophical and rhetorical construct.. Not a litteral one. Which makes the tanky squealing of "read the theory" even more hillarious. You're worse than the liberals you hate.

The fact that anyone could think the flavor of authoritarian dick to suck is what matters. Rather than, you know,; admonishing both as they deserve. Never ceases to baffle.
