Conversely, let's spare a thought to all those mooks that sterilized themselves saving the rest of us an entire generation of kids raised by the above.

Yeah. If you're into it, do it. Never turn down a chance to learn something or develop a skill. Pick your audience when using a skill though. You may be able to Hubble 5 balls, but a funeral probably isn't the place. Talking like a dude that stepped out of a time machine could be cool in a bar, but not so much if you're giving a presentation on finance.

I don't have the time to play many games now but I recently bought Dirt 5 for my arcade fix and Dirt Rally 2 for my sim fix. I've always loved rally games.
And yeah, still super close with one of those guys. When I can find the time, we spend our time playing Day Z, Arma Reforger, Sea of Thieves. He plays Forza, but I'm trying to get gud at DR2 before getting him into it so I can win at least a handful of games first.

Oh man. We had just gotten a PS1 and Need for Speed. We lived in a little apartment over a beer store. Friday night would come and we'd spend the entire weekend racing each other and drinking way too much. We'd let the loser of the race stay on and the winner would sit out. That way we all got practice and got really, really good. Good times.

Are you suggesting had the driver seen the red light, he would have stopped? Like, in the world we live in, you truly think all the laws that get broken on a regular basis, people just wouldn't run a red? This is so naive it's adorable.

Me? Average. Maybe a little better than average. I've never been the driver in an accident. I've been pulled over twice. Once for a headlight out and once for doing 52 in a 45 (I suspect the bigger crime was it being a local on a road where the people that lived there routinely drive 60+), and my insurance usually goes down about every year or two.
But I've made a few mistakes, mistimed some lights, and forgotten to use my turn signal. But id say on the whole, I'm not too bad.

Maybe had he not been staring at the light and stopped, he'd have seen all the warnings. Having rushed a light or two myself, I'm pretty sure the focus in on that.

I wonder how it would have gone if he stopped for the red.

Depends on the boss. I had a guy I worked for and we'd hang out off work. We'd go to lunch, some days go on hikes during lunch, and went camping a couple of times. He was really laid back, didn't care about my hours as long as I got my work done, and we built him a ramp in his backyard. More than once, he'd give me a bonus, send me to the pizza place for lunch, then tell me there was credit for me at the local tattoo shop. We still talk about every week or two. Good dude all around.
My current boss is cool, fine to work for, doesn't care about my hours as long as I get my work done, and we joke and play around. But I'd never hang out with him. Just too different a life style.
Past boss, no way. I didn't want him having my personal mobile phone number. You need to call me? You call me on the work cell. I come in, I do work. You tell me what you need done, you give me money. Not a bad guy, but that was just work.

Find an executive functioning class and take it. It's, I think, becoming more and more a thing. My wife is starting to run them for local middle and high schoolers.
And YouTube is your friend. You can find help for just about anything. Taxes, find someone local or just pay a person to do them. States all have different rules.
